It is #1 on every metric, so very well deserved  I would also prefer Billie, Chappel etc. to go #1 instead, but the song is great as well, so I have no issue with it staying at #1

 

But it will be interesting to see, who will finally dethrone it, as other songs are falling/stalling and nothing seems to be debuting big

But I agree radio should be removed for good from this chart. It's so slow and boring.

It's ridiculous that Die With a Smile, Birds of a Feather, Good Luck Babe and Taste are not able to surpass ABS & IHSH at this point when these songs have felt like the most hyped songs in the US for a solid month.

let's talk about "I Had Some Help" for a min.  It's been in the Top 2 for the whole year it seems.  How does that song rank among each of their catalogs?  Is Circles and Last Night still bigger?

If IHSH keeps decreasing like this, Espresso might finally snatch the #2 this week. Really hope it does since it is its last chance with BOAF and DWAS coming.

Espresso has been #3 for like most of the chart weeks since Short n' Sweet was released?

 

This is probably the CLOSEST it has been to #2. 5 POINTS! They need to discount it, fans need to mass buy/stream. It deserves that #2 peak (even if it might not go #1 atp, or at least this year maybe)

 

It's like those songs that are bigger than their chart peak. Espresso definitely is. Its streaming and pop radio performance easily feel like a 4 or 5 week Hot 100 #1 (taking in consideration other strong top 10 hits).

 

A Bar Song will now enter the top 5 longest-running #1 songs on Hot 100. It could possibly tie As It Was for #3 (15 weeks) or Last Night, Despacito (ft. Bieber), and One Sweet Day (Mariah x Boyz II Men) for #2 (16 weeks).

 

Timeless could debut #5 or #4 if they get those extra 10-12 points.

At least by the chart/radio/digital sales metric. Idk how big it is culturally. I've honestly never listened to it (also unintentionally).

 

But has Shaboozey released an album? This seems to be a big smash and he has that momentum. It would be a waste of a huge hit. Or am i not aware of it?
