I know the world is. Happy Mistake is a brand new song that's been heavily promoted on Spotify. 1

Fromi Posted October 1 Posted October 1 OGHs have put more time and energy into laughing at this album than monsters have listened to it (because it's not a popular genre)... this is a pop music forum, not sure why a jazz covers album is even being discussed let alone treated as a serious charts contender. 2

It's been a thing for years. They got their kiis from C2C, L4S, and now this The gag is those albums were pure Grammy bait. Adding to her critical acclaim. C2C "flopped!!!" but right after it her era had a solo Top 5 that is approaching 900 million streams and came from a Platinum album. L4S "flopped!!!" but right before it she had to eras ASIB and Chromatica that added 10 billion streams across all platforms to her catalog and another 2 #1 hits. Harlequin "bombed!!!!!!!" but Gaga is going into October with the #1 song in the world. It's almost admirable to see them rejoice in this. We'll be laughing all the way to #1 on Spotify Monthly listeners i guess. But oh no! Good Morning flopped :( 1

You guys really need to stop referring to this as a jazz album like this is some release by Louis Armstrong or Ella Fitzgerald. This is a brand new release in support of the allegedly highly anticipated sequel to Joker (which grossed over a billion dollars) by Lady Gaga who has one of the biggest songs out in the world right now, which you've all been more than happy to attribute to being indicative of her success. The fact that a very small fraction of her monthly listeners (again, a metric Monsters were so very happy to boast about) didn't even bother checking out her new album really sticks in your craw and now you're throwing every excuse at the book despite the fact Monsters have spent the latter part of the last week and a half clowning Katy Perry for a similar belly flop. This is a flop, and trying to explain it away as a "jazz album" or a "side project" is not going to change that. You can't have it both ways. Take the L with some dignity like everyone else does when it's their turn in the hot seat and stop trying to turn this around on everyone else Edited October 1 by Blue Monday 1 15 5

Because Monsters always claim Gaga is/was the powerhouse and respected musician who doesn't need famous big collaboration to stay relevant. Whenever OGH bring up the topic of collab, they always claim Gaga carried ASIB, ROM, DWAS, not Bradley, Ariana, or Bruno. So why did this project flop? Did they lie all this time? Popular Post Femininomenon Posted October 1 Popular Post Posted October 1 Can Liddos stop with the "it's a jazz album we don't care lol" nonsense Quote Gaga, who has referred to Harlequin as 'LG 6.5' on billboards, continued: "The record has so many different genres on it and all these original productions that are just completely indicative of a complex woman that wants to be whoever she wants to be at any given moment." Quote "It is my record. It's a Lady Gaga record, but it's also inspired by my character and my vision of what a woman can be," she said. "It's why the album does not adhere to one genre … it's not my next studio album that's a pop record, but it is somewhere in between, and it's blurring the lines of pop music." 12 8

Take the L with some dignity like everyone else does when it's their turn in the hot seat and stop trying to turn this around on everyone else Oh please. If you guys actually cared about having an actual healthy debate you'd acknowledge that the album is full of covers nearly 100 years old. Either some of you think this should actually be compared to new material or you genuinely didn't know that some of the songs....are nearly 100 years old?? It's okay to admit the second scenario if that's the case. I mean... 1930's (5 tracks) 1950's (1 track) 1960's (4 tracks) 1970's (1 track)
