The scream I just let out? :dies: I hope you are ready to watch that documentary about their journey of becoming a band in America!

Ngl, being part of a CIA psy-op and international money laundering operation does seem like an interesting plot!

But seriously, this is so painfully transparent that it's for international propaganda purposes because they would not fly in Israel at all. The amount of hatred and vitriol that Israelis have for anything remotely Palestinian is insane, which paradoxically means that they would be in need for such a boyband in theory.

Having such a band marketing themselves to international audiences is just... just ******* obvious. They're trying to whitewash Israel's image. The timing is also bizarre because Israel is still genociding Palestinians as we speak, even during its strikes in Lebanon.

I think it has to do with October 7th getting closer now that I think about. Expect a lot of stunts and shenanigans in the next two weeks. Got a feeling this is only the beginning.

100% to all of this!! I can't reply bc you spoke perfectly. I forgot that it's coming up, the media is gonna be annoying af about this, and I think we will them pushed even more now

Oh, and I would be really interested in an expose investigation into the Palestinian members. Did they even identify as Palestinians before this? Are they some of these "Palestinians" on social media who just happen to align with pro-Israeli talking points? Or are they one of those who reject the Palestinian label in favor of a more general, "neutral" identity of being an Arab or "Israeli-Arab" even -and now they "sold out" and are embracing the Palestinian identity for some $$$. So many questions, yet I'm not sure if I have it in me to care. I just so ******* mentally and emotionally exhausted from what's actually happening on the ground + arguing with pro-Kamala/pro-Israeli/"neutral"-but-happen-to-be-rhetorically-aligned-with-Israeli-propaganda libs.

The pro-Israel machine is truly a well-oiled one that works 24/7. I am so ******* tired man.

same :skull:

But I can't be bothered looking into them myself. I just can't, I would rather waste time looking at a drying wall of paint.

I feel like there is a need for a guide-like explanation for the naunces of how Palestinians across borders identify themselves (especially Palestinian citizens in Israel, or "'48 Arabs"). So many misinformation has already been spread but will definitely grow even bigger in the future based on this topic alone.

The CIA and Mossad are much more subtle.

This probably is some entertainment execs who think the concept is cute and are giving them a boost.

table eating burritos, laughing and ribbing one another. They had landed at LAX that morning after a 16-hour flight, but despite their jet lag, the vibe was lively.

The guys had arrived in Los Angeles from Tel Aviv, Israel, to lay down tracks for their forthcoming debut album — There's Sadik Dogosh, a 20-year-old Palestinian Bedouin Muslim from Rahat, Israel, with a piercing gaze and an acting background. Neta Rozenblat, a Jewish Israeli who's 22 but looks younger, grew up in Tel Aviv, where he studied computer science before getting into singing, which led to a 2021 performance on the Israeli version of The X Factor. Hailing from Haifa, Palestinian Christian Aseel Farah, 22, is the group's rapper and its self-proclaimed introvert. Twenty-three-year-old Jewish Israeli Nadav Philips grew up near Tel Aviv, idolizes Mariah Carey and used to perform as a wedding singer. Niv Lin, 22, is a Jewish Israeli from a desert town in southern Israel and played professional basketball before shifting to singing. (He also performed on The X Factor.) And Ohad Attia, also 22 and a Jewish Israeli, grew up in Tel Aviv singing and playing the guitar, a skill he flexes beautifully in the group.

So how did this work. They relocated from Israël to the US? So where are the complete families of these Palestinian singers? Or are they still living in the apartheid or are they being bombed while their relative/kid/sibling is recording generic pop songs?

The whole thing is so icky :deadbanana2:
