People saying **** like: Where's this same energy for Trump?

Everyone already knows he is horrible. Everything that comes out of his mouth is conspiracy bs that all his numbskull supporters eat up and that anyone with some sort of brain will see for what it is. There is no need to reiterate the same thing over and over.

Am I supposed to know what you're referring to?

Yes, maybe because I reported it like 15 hours ago.

Nobody will be fine under a Trump presidency as his views are extremist. That said nobody should endorse Kamala just because she's the lesser. She also sucks. Democrats have a lot of work to do on the topic of Israel and have handled it terribly so far.

A candidate pandering to a group much less likely to vote for her at the detriment of the groups who historically vote for her is not conspiracy. It's basic political analysis.

You obviously disagree and will try to push back on this assessment as one of the affluent right wing voters she is pandering to.

That's not even 1% relevant to what I quoted you saying. The constant deflection and wild tangents and lies.

Are you...@TheRealDonaldTrump?!

This. We're supposed to be better than MAGA but all this has done is showcase that Blue MAGA is really a thing that exists

Sorry it's been mainly white liberals especially white women yelling at black people supporting kamala over Palestine.

Being a single issue voter over Palestine comes from a place of ignorance and privilege. If you guys don't see that you're completely out of touch with the average American.

BINGOOOO

They keep sitting up here as if Black people aren't trying to put pressure on Kamala to change policies. Weird behaviour. Also Kamala isn't president yet people are blaming her for the actions of the last several White male presidents over the last 50+ years. You guys think you're so slick lmao.

Chappell Roan is voting for Kamala and Ethel is probably doing it too. You can vote for her as the lesser of two evils and still criticize her

Kamala Harris is not worthy of a public endorsement.

y'all aren't getting it. first of all if what these ladies are saying makes you think they're being pretentious or obnoxious, you really see in black and white instead of full color. they are not saying that we should entirely rebuke Kamala's campaign. they are not saying that anyone should vote for f*cking Trump. they ARE saying that Kamala is a war criminal and they are hesitant to endorse someone who has a few policies which are vehemently at odds with several of their respective views. and that's perfectly normal and decent of them. people shouldn't be so influenced by celebrities on who to vote for, that makes me think that maybe you aren't really ready as a person to get in the voting booth. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. these people aren't your friends, you don't know them. talk with your actual friends! these ladies ARE afraid of a Trump presidency, and that's actually quite an easy intuitive leap for a sane human to make/glean from their messages. lest we forget that one of the keywords in the good sis Ethel's statement is "HAPPY." no, many of us are NOT HAPPY to vote for Kamala, but that doesn't mean we're necessarily going to not vote for her. frankly, I'd love if someone like Jill Stein could be president, but the way things are going in this godforsaken country it doesn't feel like a third party candidate could win right now. if you're putting so much stock into what these two artists are saying, you need to actually take a look in the mirror and realize that that energy could be spent so much more productively elsewhere. to me, this doesn't feel like either of them are "fighting" Kamala. they are expressing valid opinions I agree with, and they are criticizing parts of Kamala's mission statements. we want a free Palestine. we don't want Trump in office. we want to hold the better of the two main candidates accountable for stuff that is incredibly important to us. let that sink in :giraffe:

An overwhelming majority of us aren't Kamala fans we just need Trump not to be the president

Idk how yall think you're some independent thinkers with this, people should be swayed TO VOTE FOR KAMALA, no mix in communication, no confusing language, and no "I'm not voting for Trump but I don't endorse Kamala" this is not a freaking game, or to see whos the biggest moral police

I agree with the Palestinian situation and Chappell Roan could have worded it better, but Ethel Cain's Tumblr post sounds weird, kind of like a bot would say.

I know people are saying Ethel is trans, but I don't think that absolves her of privilege. She's got a record deal and money. God forbid Trump gets elected and starts going after Trans people, she can always go somewhere safe. There are hundreds of thousands of trans people living in red states that wont ever have that safety.

This 100%

they are not irresponsible nor dangerous.

your country is both of those things towards a lot of other countries (including Palestine).

Trump is ****, Kamala as well. If you're happy with the lesser evil, vote for it, you have every right. Don't try to silence us for speaking our minds.

Nah. We will silence you because this isn't your country and your opinion means ZERO. On ignore you go now.

Stop trying to influence our election. It's that simple.

Your electoral system and your whole country is botched, no matter who wins there will still be oppression outside the US but always US approved. So no, we will not stop. So simple.

I also think if someone says "I'm not endorsing…" and names one specific person, it lands different than saying "I'm not endorsing anyone" for such and such reason.

saying you're not with Kamala in the context of an election where there are two people makes it very very easy to draw the conclusion that you are for the other opponent whether that's your intention or not.

and careful wording from people with such visibility and influence is extremely important.
