Revel Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Just listened to it and I really love it. I love how all her songs draw from different sounds but sonically feel like they belong on the same project. JADE, you are such a visionary. 1
anastaciabby Posted October 18 Posted October 18 this is way more interesting than FN what is that person talking about? jade actually wants to establish her name and she's doing amazing
tbhmatt Posted October 18 Posted October 18 (edited) All of this plus #1 and the cover of NMF UK, this is pretty good playlisting. Its a bit odd that it hasn't been auto added to Hot Hits UK, tho Edited October 18 by tbhmatt
WalkingOnCharts Posted October 18 Posted October 18 This is absolutely incredible, she's done it again 2
Jimmy. Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Probably my least favourite of the three released tracks so far but still a bop. Hope this is a smash for her. She's going an excellent job at showing the type of soloist she is.
tbhmatt Posted October 18 Posted October 18 I've kind of already said it, but I just love how you can tell Jade has started to solidify her artistic sound through these songs. There's so many running themes that can be found across all three tracks, you can tell what the Jade 'DNA' is. Most importantly, it's distinct enough from the Little Mix blueprint that it feels fresh and interesting. I love the synths and guitar riffs used throughout the song, it's very Prince coded and actually think it lends more inspiration from that era of music than it does Jessie Ware, which was the obvious comparison. The outro is sublime and the adlibs really elevate the song without detracting too much from the subtlety and sensualness of the rest of the track. My only *tiny* complaint is the second verse is a little muffled and I can see a few people struggling to make out what she's singing. Overall, this is another triumph and once again it's a song that feels so theatrical you can see how it was crafted with visuals and live performances in mind. 1

ThatGUY Posted October 18 Posted October 18 I enjoy it but it's probably my least favourite of the 3. I don't know what it is but it doesn't feel mixed/mastered properly and her vocals suffer as a result. I felt the same with MC - I had to visit the lyrics.
Afterglow Posted October 18 Posted October 18 I enjoyed it but it's not my favorite. Something about the vocals and production and it reminds me of something else. But it's a really strong album track I feel like. 2
Dear Reader Posted October 18 Posted October 18 She keeps getting better and better imo… this is absolute perfection, I'm so hyped for her album 1
musicman Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Seeing loads of stan accounts spam RCA to add it to Hot Hits UK It's funny that people think the labels just have the power to make that happen… For me this is her best so far and I hope it's successful but I'm sure she will have no issue getting the album out regardless

Spicy Pisces Posted October 18 Posted October 18 The replay value of her singles is insane. I thought Fantasy was too short but it's a decent 3 minutes 4
shark_heather Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Imagine if this smashes in the UK , then she books a performance for Jingle Bells , performs Angel Fantasy Cowboy and Showbiz .. release Showbiz the same night and announce the album for February
Binxstan Posted October 18 Posted October 18 I like this but I wanted to love it.I think it's really good but missing a bit more of an anthemic chorus Perched for the video, hopefully it will elevate the song
