I absolutely did not care before release, but I was so pleasantly surprised. I honestly don't see what's not to like about this album unless you just happen to hate swing / big band or jazz in general

I'm confused. Is this supposed to be her new album or is it a side project for the Joker movie? They don't sound like the songs she previewed live from her car…

It's a side project with all the covers from the Joker movie + two original songs.

Folie A Deux written for the Joker movie and Happy Mistake an original song.

 

The album with the snippets coming out in February.

I really like Happy Mistake and Folie A Deux. Happy Mistake is such a beautiful and haunting ballad. From what i understand though it that it's ineligible to be nominated for an Oscar since it wasn't used in a movie, right? Could it be nominated for a Grammy?

Well after two weeks, I LOVE this album.

 

its very enjoyable for me, this sound of Gaga is really for me. That's the same reason why I liked Joanne.

on my first listen Happy Mistake was okay but now i'm revisiting it with the fact that it's my crush's #1 song on his spotify wrapped suddenly it sounds like SOTY  but no seriously it's so much better than Shallow, i don't get why it flopped when it's the type of AC Gaga the gp loved
