kayliah Posted September 22 Posted September 22 (edited) Too soon though .... ttpd's body is not even cold in the ground ... also she just gave her 31 songs we had enough taylor for a while. Unless its cruel summers bops and bangers she can keep it. I dont know if i can take any morr antonoff, dessner songs again. She needs to rest and revalue her next career move lots of girls for the next decade are popping like carpenter, ncrae, ronan and the usuals eilish etc... she needs to recapture interest in a massive way with a reinvention at this point. Her sound is becoming redundant. I love TTPD and it is great album, her pen game is on fire right now. Too much and too soon could end her and make people sick of her ... we the fans carried her this era cuz gp was frontloaded during the first 2 weeks... Edited September 22 by kayliah 2 1

We have all come to understand the cultural phenomenon that is the event of us in unison streaming this music. I would not mind in the slightest a new album soon. I have digested what i needed to digest from TTPD. TTPD was a very hard era for me to digest but i did. So i am looking forward to the next one if there will ever be. Ugh i hate my job. P!nk Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Please no more Folklore, Evermore, Midnights and whatever the last one was called. Bring back pure pop Taylor.

There will be another era for sure i guess she needs to figure out a sound that could work for everyone involved and be age appropriate she cannot go back to full on lover pop like Me! And shake it off , a mature cruel summer would work but she needs to evolve too cuz i am tired of antonoff and dessner combo....since folklore its been 4 years with the same producers...
Vixen Eyes Posted September 22 Posted September 22 i need this new album to not be pop. im growing bored of her tired pop sound produced by the same 1 man (Jack) for the entirety of her pop career. find new producers pls. discover a new sound you havent touched yet, gurl. you lost the magic of what Taylor Swift does
Arrows Posted September 22 Posted September 22 I think what TS12 needs is a very distinct aesthetic, sound and identity. Every era of hers between Fearless and folklore had a very clear personality of its own that was easily distinguished from the others. Taylor also changed her look and persona for each era. Evermore was the first time she didn't change things up, but that was understandable because it was seen as a sister album to folklore. With Midnights and TTPD though, things have started to blend together a bit imo. Midnights was the first era since Red where she didn't get a new hairstyle to match the era, and a lot of the sonic elements felt borrowed from rep or folk/more. Not that it really matters, cause I like the music a lot and love TTPD, but I can admit that the concept of her different 'eras' is less apparent than it used to be. 1 1
