We didn't have anything even resembling Cry Me A River on TIMN. Not in terms of sound or in terms of lyrics. So not sure what you're talking about. We had the sample that was misused on TIMN but that's about it.

I reckon she won't leave it too long for new music I'd imagine by the end of 2025 we'll have a new album. 

 

I think it's understandable for it to be emotional and about heartbreak but she won't be making an album of ballads. Sure there might be some but I can see there will be some very emotional uptempos whether R&B, dance, latino or a mix of all three.

I would love for her to go and make meaningful Dance, Disco or House songs. She should link up with someone like Calvin Harris (or whichever DJ or Dance producer is hot right now) and use older samples or interpolations like she did with On The Floor & Lambada.

 

The lyrics can still be meaningful and convey heartbreak or how her ex let her down. Be like Cher and have her give us J.Lo's "Believe".

 

I listened to this J.LO AI cover of "Toca's Miracle" from early 2000s below and it SLAPS!!

My godddddd. Hope this is true!!! She already sampled it for the TIM..N title track, but I have a deep, deep desire for her to sample it again for a Ben diss track. "Dear Ben, Pt. III," anyone?  But it would really be a dream come true. I love Jen and JT, and I'm happy that they're fans of each other.

KotSW has been filmed already though. Any of her other films that she has coming probably aren't focused on music. Perhaps Bob the Builder will have some songs, but I'm doubtful she'd pick Linda for that.

Honestly, i wouldn't mind another soundtrack album in the vein of Marry Me. It Has very high highs and was collectively good imo and ranks at number 7 of my most listened album of 2022
