But those are only rumors in the stan world and GP doesn't know that stuff. I don't think it will work but I cannot think any other situation in which she can clean her image. She needs to play the victim card. 1

perfect blue Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Wherever she goes she'll bring herself, so that will be a challenge. 4
AdamRiver96 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 The label is definitely not the problem. Other labels would not have given this relic budget for 3 music videos, VMA Vanguard award and a 10 minute medley. No one wants Katy Perry in the year 2024.
Mordecai Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Capitol is trash but who she needs to fire is her TEAM She keeps going on about how they're 'great sounding boards' and 'keep her in check' but if nobody pushed back on WW being released then I call bullshit She should've left Capitol after NRO

hallucinate Posted September 16 Posted September 16 (edited) doubt any of the singles would become hits if they had more playlisting it would be a waste of money for the label lbr OT: she should leave her team and ideas instead Edited September 16 by hallucinate
rickycabello123 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 camilizers can relate to katycats dw! i feel yall!!! one song no tth, the other song no radio... like whats the strategy here, unprofessional! comeback with no today top hits playlist is suicide from label #CamilaLeaveInterscope
Kiss It Better Posted September 16 Posted September 16 i get their concerns that these singles (specifically IHHM) should get better playlisting and radio deals but all the budget probably went to the music videos
Archetype Posted September 16 Posted September 16 If anything, her label should leave her considering how much money they lost on all of her singles and videos this far. Maybe they'll get a cut of her tour profit and don't care. Either way, Capitol isn't the problem.
zoldyck Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Just like they urged her to grow hair, dye it black and return to dr. Luke for hits
SoldierofLove Posted September 16 Posted September 16 (edited) The KatyKata are just saying anything at this point Is this KatyPrismSpirit? Edited September 16 by SoldierofLove 3
Phaunzie Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Ew, not the success fans. Anyways can't wait.for the album
Acidus Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Are Katykats really expecting aggressive push on Katy's THIRD single after the drastic underperformance of her previous two singles? There's no point throwing good money after bad.
livelikemusic Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Sorry but this is futile. Capitol is not the problem with the era. At all.
STMG23 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 What a collossal failure this whole era is. Not a single bit of saving grace
RatGod Posted September 16 Posted September 16 She will be lucky if capitol doesn't leave her after her flop album streak. Katy has had the budget to promote the **** out of this album, 3 music videos, a vanguard, appearing at random events with the sole purpose of promoting her album. She's been given the budget to promote this era like it's 2011. It's clear they kind of had faith she could recapture her previous success with 143. Unfortunately for her, she's made blunder after blunder this era by working with a man, who not only people dislike but will actively boycott and making very boring, unoriginal music. The only misstep capitol made this era is not scrapping the album and making her start again. Could've at least helped her save face.
