Poppy - 'Negative Spaces'

I loved the sound of EAT, so I'm really vibing with the new singles. I know a few of the tracks are going to be pop tracks so I'm leaning more towards this being Zig Pt. 2 but if it's good at least I can live with it.

this is turning out to be a pretty good BMTH-lite album

The second track shows as "Track 2" on AM. But LOVE the cover.

im rooting for her (again) all the singles so far are pretty good, hopefully the album is too, it's pretty much the story of Zig again which ended up very meh as a whole

Her music always takes months to really grow on me but I can already tell Crystallized will be stuck in my head at some point in the near future. I also just revisited Zig for the first time in a while and that album just keeps on getting better, the production is so wild on that one.

Both new tracks were showing as Track 2 and 5, I renamed them on my own... It's a matter of time when they update, but I am not interested in waiting. HOLY **** by Demi didn't update for one whole year before I gave up and renamed them (before I deleted after listening to the trash) :suburban:

Cost of giving up kinda eating

I've legitimately never been scared to hear a Poppy release before... The singles are good (except for 'the cost of giving up' which is the most soulless and bland song she ever put out), but I'm just not sure how much Poppy is actually in them :gaycat6:

I hope she'll prove me wrong, but so far Negative Spaces is shaping up to be an inoffensive, safe, metal-audience-friendly album

When your spirit's black and blue
And the heroes all desert you
Will you curse what's coming true?
And the hate won't count you out
It'll leave you in the shadows

The singles are awesome.

It leaked bc some cds got sent early.

I haven't listened yet but I'm so tempted tbh, it releases in two days so I think I can wait.

I literally keep forgetting this is coming out this week :toofunny3: my hype is just not there. I'm hoping it's less like the singles (excluding crystallized)

here's some random review, excited for her "heaviest song yet"

So this is an album about "self disengagement and hatred"... after we just got Zig which was all about self acceptance, perseverance and self worth? :rip: She truly zagged when we zigged, once again!
