Or, hear me out, women are women and should vote in the interest of women anywhere in the world

Certainly against their government funding genocide

Voting for Kamala =/= supporting genocide just like voting for Trump =/= supporting palestine. We should definitely hold TS accountable for not speaking in favor of the pro-palestine movements, even donating money would've been enough but she didn't. However, let's make it clear that voting for Trump or him winning would not make the Israel-Palestine genocide situation better, at all. If your decision is not voting, that's your right and understandable but let's not make it seem like voting for Trump is an option for these people, when is not atp.

...Do you guys ever realise how insufferable you are? Taylor has never being a Republican and the past years have proven it already.

But sure, keep the endless virtue signalling about how morally superior you are while being an ATRL bully :rip:

And where did I say she's a Republican in that post? Or ever on this forum?

Suddenly the OTHs' *pointed* silences make sense. They don't want to publicly admit that they argee with the republicans and that "the republicans are right!" :ryan3:

As a non-American, I'm a bit confused with the US government. Does the Executive branch have all the power? Don't you have a Legislative branch and Senate?

The number of people turning this into a "she supports genocide" debacle as if people caring about their own individual rights within U.S. over others internationally is a bad thing. :rip:

I wish more people got this. I am not throwing myself into the fire because what good are we if Trump muzzles or does worse to us here. Problems internationally are ******* with him and I don't put it past his administration to cut us off from getting any factual information worldwide, much like the dictator countries whose media now works for the government

The senate is part of the legislative branch.  The constitution is written so that the legislative branch should have the most power however broadly speaking there have been three trends.

(1) since about the 1920s the legislative branch has delegated power to administrative agencies under the executive branch.
(2) congress since the mid 90s has been increasingly unable to pass anything.  This is because you need a supermajority in the senate to pass anything that is not budget related.  As a result the other branches have been the main places where people

have enacted policy.
(3) the Supreme Court over the last couple of decades has increasingly been enacting policy and the executive (president) is the one who appoints people to the Supreme Court.
