So happy she spoke up.  The coverage of it has been crazy....will it actually translate into more votes for Kamala?  We shall see.  I like that she didn't just tell people who to vote for (mainly because I think it's utterly ridiculous for people to wait for a pop star to weigh in before they make their own decision), but shared her reasoning and cited some of the actual issues.  She's always worded these statements really well.

I actually think it's even better the way she worded it cause they can't accuse her of "Taylor Swift is telling me who to vote for, who does she think she is?"

I'm something of an OTH but I never understood why people thought she was going to endorse Trump or be ambiguous about it. She made it clear she was voting against him last time, and she was obviously waiting for the right time to say it this time - and she timed it perfectly.

I would love to see them rationalize this. Like… Taylor Swift thought to herself, "I want Trump to win and will be voting for him, but I don't want people to hate me for supporting him so I will endorse Kamala and potentially tip the election in her favor even though I don't actually want her to win"

Because when people hate someone so much, they are willing to believe anything. Hate is much stronger than the actual truth I fear.
