In the post you linked, they are talking about behind the scenes financial deals that Lionsgate made even before the movie was released. We're not aware if Warner Bros had any such deal made, therefore it makes no sense to use one to drag the other.

 

If you wanna compare the two movies, use the same 2.5x multiplier for both -  Borderlands needed $287.5M to break even, and Joker needs $450M to break even.

 

Comparing Joker: FAD to Borderlands won't make it any less of a flop, but if you wanna drag with numbers, be smart about it

I mean she is the lead actress credit of the film? It's as much her failure as it is Phoenix and Warner Brothers but where this is a pop culture forum that's widely celebrates female pop stars I think "Phoenix Joker falls 80%" doesn't have the same ring to it.

IF we count people who left to use the toilet but never came back, yes there were. 

 

OT My local theatre has already pulled this due to "lack of demand" and is offering "refunds or an alternative movie" to anyone who prebooked.
