Joker: FAD to lose $150-200M, one of the biggest box office bombs ever

I hope it can do that much. If it did 70m that would be the 7th biggest opening in October. An r rated courtroom musical drama sequel with no controversy and mixed reviews. It would actually be insane if it pulled that much, way more than most A list actors open with nowadays. :coffee2:

Who the hell pre-orders movie tickets? No wonder it's not looking good based on just that

it's a pretty common practice with highly anticipated box office smashing movies

and this is nothing like that this is nothing of the sort

To put it in gay terms, it's like if HDD revealed that Taylor's presales were showing that she was going to open with similar numbers as Endless Summer Vacation or Rare

How does a highly anticipated Venice-debuting Gaga-starring sequel open lower than the original's first weekend?

This is just the presale right? Looks like the movie is going to commercially perform pretty well after all

It's pre sales used to predict, it's not 70M in presale tickets :rip:

JOKER was a massive movie , i was expecting the sequel to do double

It's a musical, the reviews have not been good, the first film appealed to incels (so a female lead is not going to help), Gaga was cut significantly from the film, etc. etc.

Or it could just be that the sequel isn't as appealing. If only we knew the factors that had changed from the original to the sequel.

Actually I purchased my ticket for FAD Opening night at Lincoln Square, where many seats were available in IMAX hours after the initial release. Maybe you should too?

And if I were to ask you for receipts,  you wouldn't be able to provide any. Kii.

Madonna has never had a successful film career, unlike Gaga. Nor has Madonna's acting been well received by critics, unlike Gaga
