Joker: FAD to lose $150-200M, one of the biggest box office bombs ever

Megalopolis cost $120 million and did $7 million recently. So no, Joker 2 won't be the biggest bomb in history when there's even that Eddie Murphy movie that bombed as well. Joker 2 will still gross $100 million more.

200 million budget with a GENEROUS 2.5 multiplier is 500 million. Will it even reach 200? It's not looking likely.

Probably not but you said it would be the biggest bomb of all time when there's Megalopolis and other films.

Just a month ago when the movie got a 10mins standing ovation in Venice it was Gaga's JFAD, but now it is a catastrophic flop is only Todd Phillip's JFAD. :gaycat5:

It would be a bit less humiliating for you liddos if you took the L with some dignity. The constant coping narratives and switch ups are just sad.

Her being the co-lead means it's HER movie but her being the co-lead on DWAS mean it's not her song.

The only thing less humiliating for you would be to just stop blaming this failure on the woman and prepare yourself for the draggings and fumes if the LG7 lead shows even the slightest signs of success. Because guess what Narid? You're doing the most and will be getting the most in return :ryan3:

The movie could lose 300 million dollars. That would make it the biggest box-office bomb of all time by far. That's the entire net worth of Paris Hilton. This is the defining moment of her media career. It will never be forgotten. Ever.

Well, bad movies get poor money (not always, sadly) so, I'm good with it.

The wishful thinking is over the top again.

I'll repeat: Megalopolis cost $120M+ without marketing and has made $7M worldwide so far. In two weeks. It's going to lose more than Joker 2.

Oh please the dramatics :rip: This doesn't take away from Bad Romance, Born This Way or ASIB/Shallow.

Let's see how many turn out for LG7 before we make such bold predictions Ms. OGH :ryan3:

Lionsgate barely spent any money on marketing Megalopolis. Meanwhile WB spent $100M+ on marketing Joker 2 which is as much Megalopolis cost to make

It really is a lovely evening out here in the Atlantic Ocean! I wonder what the weather will be like when we get to New York.

"Joker: Folie à Deux" is falling flat after earning a D Cinema Score, the lowest grade ever from the research firm for a comic book movie. The previous record holder was 2015's "Fantastic Four," which received a "C-" CinemaScore

Oh nahh her career is OV :rip:

2009, 2011 and fluke. It's 2024! People have short memories, except when history is made, and we're seeing it forged right now before our eyes.

Fabulous for a throwback - no one's denying that. But this FACT remains:

Liddos trying to deflect by celebrating Gaga's 100M monthly spotify listeners.

Which is such a useless achievement when you new album is a flop.

The cognitive dissonance is also over the top here.

Will Gaga have a Joker 2: FAD section of her next tour where she comes out in a clown costume and croons out the best hits of Harlequin???

ok yes it's a bomb but it's not losing 300 million dollars, be serious. the budget was 200 million, my guess is it will end up losing between 100-150million

which is horrible but on par with other box office bombs from 2020s

Forbes said it needs 500 million to break even. And that's with a conservative 2.5 multiplier. Depends on the the ratio of overseas and domestic gross.

You forgot to add that you can actually change the width and size of the text on wikipedia now so that the OGHs read it properly because they lack reading comprehension.

The Flash also had a budget of $200M and it grossed $270M. According to that list, it lost $155M
Joker: FAD is currently estimated to gross less than $250M. So it will definitely end up losing more money than The Flash
