this is a bit misleading, the first movie was not that popular with critics. it has 59 on metacritic, compared on JFAD's 45.

This movie will, most likely, go down as the biggest box-office bomb in history. So, while it may not last forever, I'd say there's a good 10-20 years in it until it is surpassed.

Just a month ago when the movie got a 10mins standing ovation in Venice it was Gaga's JFAD, but now it is a catastrophic flop is only Todd Phillip's JFAD.  

 

It would be a bit less humiliating for you liddos if you took the L with some dignity. The constant coping narratives and switch ups are just sad.

Megalopolis cost $120 million and did $7 million recently. So no, Joker 2 won't be the biggest bomb in history when there's even that Eddie Murphy movie that bombed as well. Joker 2 will still gross $100 million more.
