How can someone invest 200m into a film that no one wanted a sequel from and on top of that make it a musical which couldn't be farther than what its original audience wanted

A big win because the director and Joaquin are turrible, it's a shame Gaga got caught in the mix. I think opting for a more stripped back subtle character would be the best way forward, two more eccentric movies clearly didn't do her a lot of justice

Why is this 18 pages.  I mean this is a stan place, I know this is a lot of Kats and OGH's trying to get their licks in after the LM's had a good laugh at Katy's recent…everything, and this Die With a Smile success, all the old history etc. That said, why are LM's even entertaining it much? This isn't going to kill, or realistically even dent Gaga's career, she will no doubt book more great parts after this - what actress doesn't have any misfires and straight out bombs? None.

Now, the whole situation is indeed disappointing, but not even during its April hype the prediction was so high, let's not sis sjdjxbbd
