Especially in a comicbook/superhero flick and made by someone who makes basic pop music for a mostly gay audience. And that's something even you can't deny. Oh i didn't know Todd Phillips made basic pop music. I will search on my spotify! 1 1
aotwbys Posted September 29 Posted September 29 The core problem is transforming the Joker into a musical. Whoever thought that was a good idea is out of their damn mind 11
Flanders Posted September 29 Posted September 29 That's too bad. I feel like people will either love or hate this movie. 50m+ opening is definitely not a "flop" like some of you are saying. It's no smash either though 1
Kimmo Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Not me spending these past days dragging Kukai just to end up like this… 2

Seethe harder You'll seethe as a Madonna x Xtina hybrid at all the amazing acting reviews G will get as well as the narrative there's not enough of her This is is still cute for a rated R musical drama and could do better WW
Phaunzie Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Oh my, I still think Gaga can make this movie successful. I am expecting an over $100 million box office smash. I remember being told by some members that I don't speak for fans when I said they are not going to watch it. I wonder where those members are and how they are doing.

Janet Posted September 29 Posted September 29 It was always going to fair better in international markets
DiabeticGrandpa Posted September 29 Posted September 29 There was much hype here for the movie that made me really believe that people in general were excited for the movie
Ricardo1993 Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Ngl these numbers are alarming but I'm glad Gaga is moving on quickly and will shift her focus to LG7 in a few weeks.
Jay07 Posted September 29 Posted September 29 (edited) It's wild this has a budget of 200 million, if it was in the 50-60 range of the first one it could break even. Oh well, Gaga should make better choices in scripts and directors. Edited September 29 by Jay07
