nhatpb Posted September 17 Posted September 17 This movie should use DWAS as theme song to save BO, honestly
Orsay Posted September 17 Posted September 17 It's looking kinda bad for this movie ngl ugh, why did I trust Todd…
sweetblindness Posted September 17 Posted September 17 The trailer for this was really good IMO but the reception has completely killed my interest for it
Human Fly Posted September 17 Posted September 17 The moment variety released their article about Gaga going supporting the whole hype went down, then venice reviews confirmed it. I didnt wait for whole 2 years just to accept Gaga being supporting actress, its unacceptable. Joaquins ego deserves to be destroyed and ruined. 2 1
Sugar-Rush Posted September 17 Posted September 17 I really waited 2 years for a film that reduced Gaga's screen-time, turned into a musical, and is probably going to make half as much as the first installment. I hate Todd. 1 2
SharGaga Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Honestly Gaga's musical comeback is thee priority at this point. The film's success or lack thereof won't impact Gaga imo in any negative sense. 1

Janet Posted September 17 Posted September 17 The box office really isn't an indicator of Gaga's future success as an actress. She's clearly cemented herself in that realm and will continue to have a lasting career in Hollywood 1

I can't keep up with all the flip flopping of this wacky fan base! 15

Price of Fame Posted September 17 Posted September 17 This is absolutely gonna go lower, it'll be lucky to hit 60 million with current trends

Thats thanks to connections and her already being an A list superstar...not because of her acting talent. Anything in Hollywood circles can be bought. 3
Lil' Oz Posted September 17 Posted September 17 she's def not going to get a nod for this. Sad how Phillips fumbled this. This is all on him.

If she's "barely in the movie" then why is her face in almost every single poster/trailer/promo? She's being used to promote this more than Phoenix himself or at least as much. 2 1
LOTF Posted September 18 Posted September 18 Why would little monsters complain about this movie being a musical? If there's anybody who should appreciate the format is you! You're just in it for the numbers and stamp of approval from the establishment smh 2

I was just trying to be shady. You are right, Gaga is on another level for sure

Titanbaddie Posted September 18 Posted September 18 It's the people trying to convince us that standards shouldn't be high and the studio wasn't expecting much from a sequel to a billion dollar grossing movie starring two alleged movie megastars. Also Joker is the most successful anti-hero in modern movies, this opening is very disappointing. 3
