Buffy Posted October 7 Posted October 7 (edited) Did anyone really think this movie was going to be good? The trailers looked really bad. And then they released pretty much the entire movie into 1 minute clips on YouTube weeks before the premiere. Studios only do that when they have zero faith and know the movie is gonna bomb. Yes, all the little monsters. That's why they are praying this movie will hit 201M total at the box office so that they can claim 1M profit regardless of the breaking even margin. Da Vinci Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Tbh I just can't see a universe where a movie with the acronym FAD is a smashing success anyway 7
Thickorita Posted October 7 Posted October 7 The cinemas should roll out black curtains for the back rows 8

They tear down every female artist whenever they get a chance, for no reason whatsoever. Don't feel sorry for a rich person pls and she already got paid millions to do this role, so I think she doesn't care when she sees those numbers in the bank.

XAMJ Posted October 7 Posted October 7 The worst is still yet to come it'll have probably the largest drop ever for a comic book film in week 2 It won't even cross $70 million domestically 2
Gottasadae Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Second week will serve an ultimate free fall of the century 3
Taylena Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Are you telling me The Eras tour movie had the same gross in its opening day as this movie in the whole weekend? 10 1

Were you not on ATRL for the pre-bomb threads? People would jump at you if you dared doubt the success of the movie. They were so confident they were already "predicting" ATRL would attribute the film's success to the first movie/Joaquin instead of Gaga but the tune changed now for obvious reasons 1

Guess the audience agrees with reality lol! This movie has the worst radioactive WOM I have ever seen. And it's truly deserved it.

They spent all that money and for what? 50 million was just to pay the main actors and director💀 20 million for Tod Phillips 20 million for Joaquin 12 million for Gaga Edited October 7 by Shine 1

They spent all that money and for what? The production design felt pretty lavish to me, wouldn't be shocked if it cost a pretty penny. It definitely could've been made for under that though.
