The way she is a victim of domestic abuse and unfair scrutiny yet she didn't let any of that define trauma define her and pushed through it is amazing and admirable.

She also looks so stunning. This is legit her best photoshoot in years. To say I'm gagged is an understatement given that she looks HOT.

If you read the whole quote, it makes more sense, she's not dismissing her music career. Also, I'm not a fan fan but of a casual (Stream Chappell's album) but she's said this before so it's nothing new. Let the girl do whatever she wants, she's harming no one.

Not her talking about her music career like it's a disease or a plague :toofunny2:

Adopt then! She could give an orphan the Annie kind of life

She's been vague about the extent of the abuse she faced from Justin but claimed that it was emotional/mental. I also recall Taylor liking a Tumblr post that acknowledged she escaped an abusive relationship.

why is everyone so mad about this? :deadbanana: she's been saying these exact same words since she was 18 :deadbanana2:

music was just her hobby/side thing

anyways, imagine music just being your hobby and producing one of the best pop discographies of all time :alexz:

2017 was Selena's best and artistic peak! Bad Liar - Fetish - Wolves - Back To You punches :jonnycat:

She should've dropped an album back then while her creative juices were still hot

Equating this to domestic abuse is very dangerous and spreading misinformation

I wonder if Cardi ever spoke to her because I know Baddielena is still in there somewhere

We need the scrapped dark pop album before she eventually stops focusing on music fr:jonny2:

Given that domestic abuse is defined as abuse towards an intimate partner (whether mental/physical/verbal/financial/sexual) and both Selena and Justin himself have acknowledged he played a part in exhibiting mental/emotional abuse, I respectfully don't think it's dangerous to say this nor misinformation. I'm also saying this as a survivor of domestic abuse and see myself in Selena when she talks about how she overcame the abuse she was put through.

It's a great album, but notable she hasn't been able to recapture that magic since

imagine having your music career as a hobby and then its what makes your income bigger after rare beauty :suburban:

This is actually so sad. Loved her for her music since 2009 and I'm happy I'll always have her music even if she doesn't release any more

The part she talks about not being able to carry her own children made me so emotional.

Even If she has never dreamed of being a mother, even If It wasn't being planned before, even If she could adopt and will love her child just as much as If she could've given birth to them, It was a choice that was taken away from her and It hurts.

I also have a medical condition that makes It harder to get pregnant without proper treatment and It scaries me to go through the same as her in the future.
