mike_int Posted September 9 Posted September 9 If something is your hobby you are passionate about it. I never saw Selena being passionate about music, or she is better actress than we think she is. But I think not 2
RideOrDie Posted September 9 Posted September 9 her fans can try stanning an actual musician now who wouldn't disappoint them with her lack of talent or ambition, thank you selena 2 1
Robburro Posted September 9 Posted September 9 she's saying this since Stars Dance why are people acting surprised now lmaoooooo 1
Vrx. Posted September 9 Posted September 9 What's amazing is she's never gotten any better at singing OR acting. She's legit horrid at both. Even in OMITB she's the sore standout with the Disney-type acting. One note on both accounts despite almost 20 years is wild so what is she actually passionate about? 2 2 2 6

She's so undeserving of all the music opportunities she ever got for saying something like this tbh. The one who made those songs hits was Selena, my dear, otherwise they would all have flopped 6 2 1
Selegend Posted September 9 Posted September 9 all those comments about her acting when they see her in emilia perez.... Mabel is a role she plays. She's supposed to be "dry" so she can be the opposite of the 2 Martins. But okay. 3 1
Dante Silva Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Isn't her appeal that millennials feel sentimental and nostalgic towards her as (like other Disney girls) she was always on TV when they were growing up and she therefore feels like a friend and an interminable part of their childhoods? I think at this point it's safe to say she could open her mouth and burp sing and people would be like "oh isn't that cute, it's just Selena finding her key". 1 1 4
dumbsparce Posted September 9 Posted September 9 She outbopped all her peers with her hobby. Now that's some real talent there 4 1 4
Souvenir Posted September 9 Posted September 9 (edited) https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/story/selena-gomez-cover-interview "I have my days like everyone else, but I'm no victim. I just survived a lot. There isn't a part of me that wants anyone to feel sorry for me." My mind was not right and chemically imbalanced, and it was really difficult. People were calling me a victim. That frustrates me, because being vulnerable is actually one of the strongest things you can do. That narrative is not going to take over my life. I'm grateful every day. And I have my days like everyone else, but I'm no victim. I just survived a lot. There isn't a part of me that wants anyone to feel sorry for me." Edited September 9 by Souvenir 4 2 1

choerry Posted September 9 Posted September 9 She probably just said this to try and beat the pop star allegations before awards season. She has nomination potential for sure. 2

I choked on my toothpaste reading this thank you Pikachoo
Pheromosa Posted September 9 Posted September 9 It was always obvious she got really far despite everything 1

Well, for some artists music is not just their main source of income but their whole lives. I really hope she reconsiders what she said because I'm not even a fan but I would hope she's just confused or something. Who Says was a song that meant a lot to Jordin, and she's about to release an album. And she certainly could have made it a hit back then. 2 1
Happylittlepunk Posted September 9 Posted September 9 The way yall are so mad! Her hobby ended up having more success than some of your faves music careers. It just shows how well liked Selena is by the gp. That a hobby took off and made her successful. Now that she doing very will with acting and business she can finally focus on what she always wanted. but Selena success proves how bad some of your faves music truly is if she was able to do it despite the lack of talent. 7 1 1
Dolce Vita Posted September 9 Posted September 9 she's saying this because she's finally being taken seriously with her acting career but you can't tell me she didn't put her SOUL into revival and rare. she went in the booth to record souvenir mad as HELL 5
Selegend Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Its so beautiful that she's looking for other options so she can have a baby in the future and its grateful for that. She'll be an amazing mom. 1 5 1
MonsterNavy Posted September 9 Posted September 9 she looks so cvnty CUNNNTYYY her best photoshoot in years keep the stylist selena 1
MonsterNavy Posted September 9 Posted September 9 this is so true though. as a fan since 2007 music has always been just a hobby that she does for fun then it all went crazy she suddenly became one of the biggest popstars in the planet ddd 1 1
sweetsexysavage Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Well, then 'Revival' turned out to be a great outcome if you consider it was just a 'hobby'. Imagine if she actually wanted to make music or put more energy into it, the Grammys wouldn't be safe. 3
