She should focus on her acting career.

She certainly did exceed everyone's expectations with her amount of talent (or lack thereof).

tbf Selena has been saying that she has preferred acting over music since she was a teenager. Now that her acting career is taking off after years of it being dormant, there isn't really a reason for her to focus on a music career that was essentially a plan b for her.

This part. She's been saying she'd rather focus on acting for about a decade and now she has her chance. She should push out an album as a thank you to the fans before she fully drops it though.

Hopefully she will stop singing for good now.

Her hobby revolved around something she had zero talent in.

A hobby she's terrible at so it's no loss. If she's gonna be grumpy and act above music now that she's flopping, she can keep it. She has overstayed her welcome anyway, the pop scene has too many genuinely talented faces making much better pop than she's capable of nowadays. She did give us a couple bangers though so at least there's that.

Facts. She's as bad a singer as she is an actress.

When people say you don't need talent to succeed, you think of her immediately.

The fact that she's so successful in spite of her lack of talent is truly commendable.

Her "singing" is better than her "acting" so she kind of just sounds like a crazy lady.

Poor Selena stans :rip: I admittedly don't know much about her career, but that's got to be hard for her longterm fans to hear.

Why is this the thread when the whole photoshoot and interview is a serve?

she's clearly enjoying a career re-peak now as a business woman (billionaire) and actress (acting aclaim). :bird:

music truly is a hobby now. but yeah, despite the fact that she always said it as a hobyy, she didn't treat like a hobby last decade.

but since 2021 she got her word in action and this is the reality.

Full quote: "It's a vulnerable space. Acting has always been my first love. Music is just a hobby that went out of control. Now it is a part of who I am, so I don't think I'm going anywhere. I'm just not ready yet."

I mean this is actually believable

She never put any effor to it and for a while she still smashed.

I think she is happier acting.
