Racism 

Like it or not Cowboy Carter had an impact on Country music and they're choosing not to acknowledge it especially after what Beyonce said about feeling unwelcomed there.

I honestly can't say I'm surprised. I love country and had been wanting Bey to do something like this since 2016 at the CMAs, but it was just a massive dud for me besides a few songs.

Well beyonce spoke negatively about CMA, Shaboozey didn't. So they purposefully counted B out. I hope that helps

Tbh Beyoncé did mention that the overall album wasnt country so maybe it wasnt submitted. But Texas Hold Em should've definitely been nominated

The album may have not been pure country but lots of nominated albums were also not pure country. Also Texas Hold Em is 100% country…that song at least should have been nominated. Ridiculous but not surprised

The album is really bloated. I only listen to Bodyguard sometimes… I gottta be honest I took a peak at the daily streams and they looked bad

Pretends to be shocked. Beyoncé deserved at least a Female vocalist nomination

I wonder if the Grammys will do they same in the country categories (that would help Beyoncé to increase her chances to win in the General field though)

Not some people here are trying to twist the narrative to album being bad but can't say anything about Texas Hold 'Em which was a country ass song and had commercial and critical acclaim compared to some songs on the nominations list.
