Guys let's be honest, most celebrities don't care that much about politics, it's the truth, of course they can endorse one candidate or another, but at the end of the day they're rich, they won't face any struggles or repercussions if either of the candidates win, and they know that, that's why they don't care if their friends are republicans or democrats, they see this as a football game, they support one team or another but at the end of the day nothing happens (to them) if their team loses

This is cognitive dissonance. Our defenses are that this -action- should not be called out, regardless of the subjects involved. taylor has already been spotted having a girls dinner with this brittany girl and introducing her to other friends of hers (such as blake lively) and brittany was on the private rhode island party/friends meeting taylor threw this past month on her mansion lol they're clearly friends and pretty close if taylor keeps going out of her way to invite her to dinner and spend time at her home. clearly she either shares the same political views as the mahomes or doesn't really think political stuff matters when it comes to her friendships. obviously this doesn't really mean she's a trump supporter (i don't think she is tbh, she prob just doesn't think being a trumpie is a deal breaker for her, which is hypocritical but on brand for her) but it's crazy how swifties are quick to create and spread narratives about how she's pretending to "like" someone that she's actively inviting to spend time with her friends circle and family members.

I know a lot of people feel an obligation to keep the peace. Or their culture ingrains that in them. But that is also one of the reasons so many people suffer from generational trauma. 

 

If your parents or close relatives have no problem voting for someone that (potentially) takes your and potentially 1000s of other people's human rights away, than they never were good people to begin with.
