I kinda wish people would realize the hard truth that....it's likely that you're going to encounter Trump supporters in your life, and you're going to find yourself in circles with people who support him (especially in athletics).  Taylor and Brittany became friendly over a year ago through going to these games to watch their partners who are teammates.  They're at a game.  Sometimes, it's easier to just be cordial and friendly rather than shun someone in public (and I'm quite sure a lot of people having dramatic reactions to something like this would not have those same reactions in their own public lives).

 

I'd get some of the reactions if she was hanging out with like, Ivanka Trump or Candace Owens.  But this is not quite that.  We know where Taylor (and Travis) stand.

If someone you've been friendly with for a year sees you and reaches out for a hug to greet you, is it really worth it to be rude to them because you heard they liked a Trump post on instagram?  What is starting drama in public with one person going to do or solve?

There have been plenty of users here who have lied about their identity, faked their own deaths, etc. Also I find quite rare to see female users having a fixation to drag female singers on forums. Usually that's a very gay boy thing to do. But if you are, sorry.

 

To remain on topic, you can have friends or be cordial (I prefer the latter and out of survival) with people who don't share your political views. I'm not a Taylor fan at all but I can't see why this is terribly upsetting.
