JDC Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Love it really like the chorus and her vocals throughout the song, is this the lead from the new era or just droplet?

badvibez Posted October 16 Posted October 16 This has grown on me after listening to it a few times. I've read a few people saying this is a return to form or a return to the NMTF style. I don't think it resembles NMTF that much, but I think the rest of this album will take a more indie synthpop direction (using samples from The Knife is sort of indicative of that). I am confused by some of the choices made so far. Like a DIY looking cover and video that was filmed 2 weeks ago (?) for a lead single is a little puzzling. But I guess if you consider that she's trying an indie/alternative approach, then it makes sense.
badvibez Posted October 16 Posted October 16 New interview: https://readdork.com/features/mo-dork-mixtape-16-oct-24/ She said she wrote the chorus for Who Said 10 years ago. Also mentions that Madison Love and The Dare () were part of the album sessions in some capacity. The article mentions dance and electronic music a lot, so I guess that's the direction of the album. They also got her age wrong
deletefor3ver Posted October 17 Author Posted October 17 You mentioned earlier that there is a plate on the way. Can you tell us more about it? "I'm not allowed to say anything! But I'm wildly excited. And something is on the way."
