HolyKatyPerry Posted September 4 Posted September 4 The way she said so much without actually saying anything. The way she could have used this to make some kind of point to apologize for her mistakes and try to move on from it… The album is already done, the damage is already done. She could have just been honest and said she was trying to regain some of her past success. Even after seeing how it backfired she still could have said that and made up something about how she had a lapse in judgement about working with him, and apologized and said it won't happen again. 5

iiswhoiis_max Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Can she stop acting like she wrote more than 10 words for Womans World? "Yea I know people are mad I work with him but hey I am a mother." 1
PlERRE Posted September 4 Posted September 4 So, she decided to work with him. Wasn't she under a contract So Katycats lied to us. 1 4
TipToe Posted September 4 Posted September 4 She actually avoided adressing anything, she could have complimented his talent for example (giving an excuse) but the way she puts it's like there isn't anything special that made her stand by him as a collaborator... she just picked him and choose to pay no mind to the subject that ignited the "conversations". It was an elephant in the room and she looked at it and said "ok, whatever", so to speak.
Gladiator Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Listening to "Hard Out Here - Lily Allen" for the Katy stans. They are really going through the wringer this era. She is the gift that keeps giving.
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted September 4 Posted September 4 The non answer. Her pretending Woman's World is a deep song. This era has really exposed her shallowness. This era makes Witness look like The Emancipation of Mimi compared to this trainwreck 4 1

qurl Posted September 4 Posted September 4 that long ass paragraph that basically amounts to "yes i worked with him" no accountability, no reflection …. she talked in circles to say "yes i worked with a notoriously alleged abuser"
AvadaKedavra Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I wonder if she stormed angry in that interview after this cause she has 4 sure rules for her interviews

Just say it Katy you worked with him because he used to make you hits but he's washed up or gave her the worst songs on purpose If he gave Katy the worst songs on putpose, wouldn't that be shooting himself in the foot?
CandleGuy Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Out of all the answers she could have gave, she chose to justify it because Woman's World. Lmao. Just say that it's an unfortunate truth of the music industry that it's full of questionable characters, and if she only worked with perfect people there would be no album. Say that you chose to maintain a working relationship with him for the music but you still stand with victims worldwide and will always fight for women to be heard. Say literally anything but what you said here girl 2
Bhabylon Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I legit don't understand why the 3 remaining Kats still stan her isn't there another pop girl you can live vicariously through? Like Sabrina or something idk 4
Bey'Knight Posted September 4 Posted September 4 The question was why. She went on a diatribe about what. Should've just vetoed that line of questioning
YourFavoriteWeapon Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Her being unabashedly proud with her decision proves that she doesn't think men raping and beating women is a serious issue. I wonder if her perspective would change if it was her sister, mother, or daughter in Kesha's situation. 4 1
Dula Peep Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I really hate when people use having children as some sort of excuse….. 3 1

Trent W Posted September 4 Posted September 4 (edited) The "I'm a mother" excuse is the laziest and most "white woman" **** ever They ALWAYS use their kids as excuses She could've cleaned her whole ass image by saying "he was unfortunately picked by the label and by contract there was sadly not much I could do about it" It was sooo ******* easy Edited September 4 by Trent W 6
Paddy Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Her PR really gave her a big lesson on how to answer a question without saying anything.
Dula Peep Posted September 4 Posted September 4 5 hours ago, jakeisphat said: "This all came from me. Women's world is all about empowerment. Like I really created a whole brain and heart as a mother." This answer proves we should all be worried that she of all people created a brain and a heart… Her trying to claim these terrible, shallow and lifeless lyrics are all coming from her and not the 8 other credited writers on the song is also just…… 6
BraveNewSeth Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Jesus Christ, Katy. For the love of everything that's holy she really needs to just keep her mouth shut from here on out, because every time she opens it it's a new controversy. If she smart she'll quietly drop the album and then disappear until this whole thing blows over.
