Alex Posted October 3 Posted October 3 ngl it's irking me how WMEBFIL duet is just thrown into the mix in here when it's a JAG 1 track, might as well have added F.u.c.k and Coastin too girl! Hope the new songs are good tho
50thStateofMind Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Love Is Stronger Than Pride is one of my favorite songs ever....I hope her version does it justice
thesecondwave Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Love is stronger than pride sounds SO good easily my favorite! Super curious if kaytra produced it

Kiss It Better Posted October 4 Posted October 4 it's soooo good can't believe she actually covered Sade honestly wish she would've just called this Jaguar III cause it feels more like a brand new album than a deluxe or add both Coastin & Friend U Can Keep to this my ranking: Don't Sleep > DkAtNight > Love Is Stronger Than Pride > We Might Even Be Fallin In Love > The Greatest > 1900s > Everybody Needs Someone > 2SEXY > SOS
monologueNacafe Posted October 4 Posted October 4 Dick@Nite and LISTP are the ones that immediately grabbed me followed by Don't Breathe.
Taste of Honey Posted October 4 Posted October 4 This is all so strong, I agree this could've been another album on its own. I really love LISTP. I've really missed her singing MORE so it's nice to hear.
Trip Posted October 4 Posted October 4 why didn't she call it jaguar 3 and completed the intended trilogy but that aside the songs are stunning as always
ReneighIsHere Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I think the songs are good for a deluxe but not good enough for Jaguar III... most of the songs on the standard album are stronger imo. Besides it's just 6 new songs, 1 cover, 1 old song and 2 interludes which is not enough for a new album 3
Sabandija Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I've only listened to the album twice but I have to disagree. I think the standard version is much more stronger. I'm glad she didn't call this Jaguar III. It would've been a disappointment. This way this is just a deluxe version. I was very hyped for 1900's since the snippet and the actual song goes nowhere. It's a same, I think it has great potential but the final result is a let down. Everybody needs someone is beautiful. It reminds me of Good Bye. Definitely, my fave from the deluxe but her voice sounds really strange. Is someone else singing the chorus with her? I'll keep streaming. Maybe it will grow on me. 1
humbz Posted October 4 Posted October 4 the first installment remains the best part of the project. such an instant classic. jaguar II was able to keep the momentum, but I didn't LOVE it entirely so the deluxe brought some fresh energy which is cute. upon the first listen, 1990s and the greatest are my favorites. the outro was definitely not necessary tho. lol I'm ready for a new era with a few more twists and unexpectations. come on now, monét! 1
alexaalto Posted October 4 Posted October 4 I'm gonna give this album a listen, I've never had the time to get to know her catalogue but the length and the feeling of this album is intriguing so I'm gonna give it a go today 1
mons†er Posted October 4 Posted October 4 (edited) 'Love Is Stronger Than Pride' is possibly Victoria's best work to date. WHOA!!! I know it's a Sade cover but I am blown away by how she has interpreted it to fit her voice and style of music. I kind of wish Sade was actually on it as a duet. I will say this installment is possibly the most disappointing. I have loved the first 2 installments instantly and was able to connect with the songs a lot more easily. I'm not surprised though, after 4 years with this much music and all of her success. I genuinely wish we could have gotten the JAGUAR series as it was intentionally meant to be. Between COVID and her rise to success, I believe the whole sound of the era changed drastically and so did the vision. Ready for the next iteration of Victoria Monet! Edited October 4 by mons†er 3
