itshyolee Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Who are some artists that you think should've made it/became bigger than what they currently are?
YourFavoriteWeapon Posted August 27 Posted August 27 I doubt anyone here will know who she is but I really wish Phoebe Ryan made it. She got a cute top 20 hit with The Chainsmokers and wrote Man On The Moon for Britney but got dropped by Columbia before taking years to put out her debut album. We haven't gotten new music in over four years and the last notable thing she did was make an Instagram story about how "Hilary Duff can't sing for ****" and then I lurked this forum soon after that and peeped a bunch of members were calling her a green haired flop. Bless her. 1 2
Brooklyn Baby Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Tinashe is the obvious answer. And Rita Ora tbh. I was rooting for ha
Sheep Posted August 27 Posted August 27 snsd was the total package and the only reason they werent a phenomenon on debut in the US is racism and nothing/nobody will ever convince me otherwise. 1 1
AshleyLovescats887 Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Madison Beer. She has the looks, she has the amazing music, but the one thing she does not have is a good label. 'Silence Between Songs' remains to be such a beautiful album that deserved a lot more than what it received. 3

At least she can sell out 4k capacity venues without effort and has a multitude of streaming hits without even having a Hot 100 entry, as well as a recent Grammy nom (despite it being for the engineering or whatever ). I think she's more than happy wherever career is at now and is content with having a niche fan base and the occasional viral hit.

If Sabrina could do it after almost 10 years since her debut album, I strongly believe Madison will get her break through moment too at some point. 19 minutes ago, Erreur2 La Nature said: Inna maybe She made it in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, a Romanian pop legend 1
