Bruno has been releasing the same type of thing for years now and people eat it. It's almost a guarantee for success. Why change it now if it gets a pass anyway.

This song is good so congrats, I guess. Same old... but good... I guess... :psyduck:

"That's What I Like", "Finesse", "Wake Up In The Sky", and "Die With A Smile" really do sound exactly the same :rip:

I'll grant you that his 2020s work so far has followed a very cohesive 70s-inspired palette both sonically and aesthetically, but I don't see the issue if the music remains great. Whitney Houston in the 80s, Mariah Carey in the 90s, P!nk post-2006, and Kelly Clarkson outside of "My December" all had their reliable formulas for singles which consistently paid off. Ditto for Adele, who also dealt with lots of people whining about her 'always doing the same thing'. Not their fault they're extremely talented singers who always deliver on specific sounds and vibes while remaining authentic. The public loves them for a reason.

People acting like Gaga NEEDS other artists to chart high has to quite frankly be some of the stupidiest non facual nonsense I have read on this weird ass website.

Gaga's 17 Top 10s:

1. Just Dance (COLLAB)

2. Poker Face

3. LoveGame

4. Paparazzi

5. Bad Romance

6. Telephone (COLLAB)

7. Alejandro

8. Born This Way

9. Judas

10. The Edge of Glory

11. You & I

12. Applause

13. Million Reasons

14. Shallow (COLLAB)

15. Stupid Love

16. Rain On Me (COLLAB)

17. Die With a Smile (COLLAB)

Meanwhile Bruno 19 Top 10s ironically consists of TWICE as many collab songs:

1. Nothin' On You (COLLAB)

2. Billionaire (COLLAB)

3. Just the Way You Are

4. Grenade

5. The Lazy Song

6. Lighters (COLLAB)

7. It Will Rain

8. Young, Wild & Free (COLLAB)

9. Locked Out of Heaven

10. When I Was Your Man

11. Treasure

12. Uptown Funk (COLLAB)

13. 24K Magic

14. That's What I Like

15. Finesse (COLLAB)

16. Please Me (COLLAB)

17. Leave the Door Open (COLLAB)

18. Smokin' Out the Window (COLLAB)

19. Die With a Smile (COLLAB)

Neither of these artists NEED anyone, but I find it very interesting people allow Bruno to collab as he pleases yet still revere his chart power and impact and how well his songs do, meanwhile ATRLrs continue to fall into inherently and maliciously internal misogynistic tropes that a woman with TONS of solo hits herself couldn't POSSIBLY be a factor as well in how well her collabs chart too?! Honestly if you come on here with your full chest and lie saying Gaga needs anyone to be successful nowadays, including MEN like Bradley or Bruno, do yourself a favor and shut the **** up. You have ZERO basis in spreading a totally false claim other than being a blatant troll.

You forgot Dope for Gaga

He is so talented. Writes, sings, produces, but his songs are so mid imo (there are expections tho).

It's literally just a joke. Y'all get so worked up so easily over a small comment that it's quite humorous.

That's impressive. Someone posted his Spotify stats and streams the other day and they were completely crazy. He has a good and basic image, the gp loves him.

@Gaia Please refer to my comment. Several examples of women who have done this to much success (Aretha Franklin, Céline Dion, Diana Ross, and Tina Turner also come to mind). The key is prioritizing raw talent over flashy pop gimmicks and inconsistent risk-taking, which will then appeal to wider audiences, including older demographics who prefer the reliable over the unpredictable, thus ensuring greater long-term success.

Obviously, different artists will opt for whichever approach resonates most with them - all of which are valid. But it's childish and deliberately obtuse to act like this has anything to do with 'double standards'.
