Like what happened to the days of a standard and deluxe just being released on the same day? I didn't even realize these existed and now I've missed the first two. She better release them eventually anyways, great album! Dog Years is a career highlight! Though lyrically the album is a bit too on the nose Normally I agree but…. Kinda feels more acceptable in this instance. Usually this happens with artists with more of a push. This is an incredibly personal record, you can hear the heart and soul running through it, and yet it seems like a small drop in the ocean. She deserved better and if the people want to buy them then they have the choice. 5

wigglytuffer Posted October 28 Posted October 28 I gave this a full listen through today for the first time (at the gym, which in hindsight, was not the location to do that 😭) The songwriting is incredibly raw and overall I think it's the first halsey record i've enjoyed from back to start. My fave is Panic Attack 3
Zkn Posted October 28 Posted October 28 I've been playing this album non-stop since it was released, so amazing!
Bryan Spears Posted October 28 Posted October 28 (edited) This is going to be my favorite cold weather depression album godsley thank you so much for sharing your story with us Edited October 28 by Bryan Spears

Again i may sound like I'm being overdramatic but the song put into words what I was feeling in a time that I needed it the most so putting it on one of her most raw authentic and best bodies of work would be chefs kiss 2
Lady Claire Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Charades is also so good I like it better than Hometown actually

I know some of you are fickle and switched on it cause yall are indifferent to her more commercial pop sound and it ended up unfortunately underperforming but the song is really special to me. When it came out it took on an autobiographical form and help me realize alot of clarities that I was repressing and denying and was a wake up call for me. If she could do it for Nightmare I hope that she does it with So Good. I can see "So Good" fitting on the album too actually. The song came out in 2022 so she had to have been going through some of the hardest parts of her diagnoses then. Maybe it will be in a deluxe she will eventually put out because she/her labels have always been pretty good at uploading her deluxe editions/bonus tracks on platforms!!! And do I think about the one that got away? I know his name, I think about him everyday This whole verse & this specific part also hits hard for me due to personal reasons.

"So Good" was released under Astralwerks/Capitol so probably not. I'm actually curious if she recorded an entire album where So Good was the lead for 2
RadioactiveLights Posted October 28 Posted October 28 She might lose the number 1 to Tyler but tbh that's fine. They're both on Columbia and as long as she sells well enough, she's safe I just want her to get the label support she needs to make fire music like this.
wish Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Okay wow, she must be DEVOURING with pure sales. So close to that #1... Now this album just needs a bigger push on streaming.
orange22 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Miss Frangipane was gatekeeping hits for the deluxe huh? @Reverse Warholian

Catch22 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 It doesn't happen often I love every single song on an album. But Halsey did that 4
perfectillusion204 Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Yay at the predictions! Also love all 4 deluxe tracks. So in total, 22 songs for this album. She wasn't lying when she said it's her longest!

ATRL Moderator wehavetostan Posted October 28 ATRL Moderator Posted October 28 I saved my first listen until after the weekend because I really wanted to listen to it in full. I have been sobbing for multiple songs and I’m only halfway through 1
oceans Posted October 28 Posted October 28 WE NEED TO PUSH PANIC ATTACK ASAP LETS DO IT LITTLE HALSADOS 2
wish Posted October 28 Posted October 28 Streets are saying that Tyler's physicals don't ship until next week. If this is true, Halsey still has a chance to secure the #1 if Tyler is unable to close the gap with just streaming. 1
rebeltwat Posted October 28 Posted October 28 This is a beautiful album. I'm not sure if it will top Love + Power for me but her artistry continues to expand itself with every project. 2
Better Mistakes Posted October 28 Posted October 28 So, when are the deluxe tracks, specifically 'Lessons' going on streaming?
