Repelex Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Lonely is the muse is ROTY (rock song of the year). Ha best since you asked for this. Perhaps we found her genre of excellence. 10
Lady Claire Posted October 23 Posted October 23 I don't think she dislikes hfk, she praised it everytime she talked about it and even did that Webster Hall concert. And that's another thing i like about her, she never trashes her past work, it's quite the opposite, she always seems proud of them. Even Closer she re-worked as a rock song to perform it live now Now back to TGI, Life of the Spider is already on my top 3 snippets i like that she's releasing the draft version of it. Probably there is a full-produced song but it doesn't hit as hard as the version she's releasing 1 1

Kern Posted October 23 Posted October 23 This album is shaping up to be her masterpiece. The snippets are blowing me away. I'm most excited about the Arsonist, Dwarfism, I Believe in Magic and Dog Years 1

But alas it is part of the album so I see what you're saying. I just think HFK had more organic success in my opinion, especially coming off of Closer, the biggest hit of 2017. 1
Kern Posted October 23 Posted October 23 (edited) "Does a story die with its narrator?" god this album will be so sad. I never heard an album that was so focused on death Edited October 23 by Kern 1

Bad at love was her first solo hit. hfk served its purpose as her pop star era 2

perfectillusion204 Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Yeah whoever is the last impersonation is def gonna be the one that gets people talking. Saving the best for last. Could be Madonna, Alanis, Xtina, Bey, P!nk or someone else lol. I hope it's not anyone more recent than someone from early 2000s though. Also I hope it's not Amy, I don't think it will be though. And I don't think it'll be herself again. Oh wait, maybe it will be ASHLEY this time instead of Halsey.
Bryan Spears Posted October 23 Posted October 23 I got tickets to see the album show in BK on friday...I am so sat for Panic Attack. Also I do not think she will impersonate herself again

BlahBlahBlah Posted October 23 Posted October 23 I need at least one more 2000s inspired track that's a bit more upbeat, has she teased the LA track yet?

This. ***** knows it but she keeps us on chokehold, she knows we need one album full of songs like LITM. IMO, IICHLIWP is more alternative than rock, so... we still need a rock album. 2
psychodiva336 Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Yeah I'm so so excited for this album. Just a little more than 24 hours for me (I hope it comes out at midnight local time?). I want to hear and dive deep into the darkness Halsey prepared for us
Lady Claire Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Just some hours left til the NZ release Now that we have snippets for the entire album (sans the opener) i don't think it sounds super messy or all over the place. It's very versatile but sounds very cohesive and not like a random playlist. Manic was far messier when it comes to different genres can't wait for the full thing 2
FACT Posted October 23 Posted October 23 I saw that Stevie Nicks ad on ig and I thought the project was so cool so I had to check it out The execution is a bit rough I did enjoy Ego and I Never Loved You
