The fact that she had a solid hit with Dance The Night just before the era. One of the fastest downfalls in MPG history.

I feel bad because she gave us bops upon bops

We got Training Season and Houdini so it's all good

Yeah, whan an uneventful era. I wonder what's her next era going to be and how it is going to perform, it will for sure requires a lot of investment in order to be successful.

To be fair, there's been zero push since the album dropped. Almost as though the label saw it wasn't going to make a return on investment and pulled the plug. I wonder what's in store next.

Nothing that a couple of DJ collabs and a fresh new era in 2025 can't save. Those comparing her to Katy Perry don't realize she was never as big as Katy to begin with, and that she didn't damage her image either, so everything is easily solvable.

This is her Alanis Morissette - Under Rug Swept era

Yeah the dead silence post "Illusion" is just weird. They just pulled the plug indeed. It's sad cause if "These Walls" got a proper push or if she released a remix to "Whatcha Doing" with the Weeknd it could've worked out in the end. But stuff like that is expensive to do. Especially if you are managing yourself.

not witness outcharting omfg

Witness would've charted for 2 months tops but they kept releasing fraudulent bundles so it wouldn't fall off. Not comparable since that was an actual disaster

Y'all knew it was a flop. I'm actually surprised it lasted that long

Wouldn't be this way if Solaria focused more on Dua instead of Taylor Swift!

she really needs a new management team :rip: her self-indulging self will just drop an album and go back to vacation :rip:

Same number of weeks that a certain other flop album spent at #1

* = Future Nostalgia charted higher

How bad can you fumble the bag that 11 weeks later the public says "Yeah, no thanks, we're good.m4a, we'll go back to the old one". :rip:

What's this hate train for my girl :gaycat6::noparty: so rude. Anyway, she barely promoted the record and went on a tour days after it's released. I'm actually surprised it charted this long.

I was hoping we would get a last single but oh well

the way this was the biggest set up oat

Those statements sound so weird at this point. They had something COMPLETELY different in mind for sure, idk basing on what. I don't think the album per se is that much weaker than FN, it's the musical landscape that's so wildly different rn. They tried to repeat the same formula and it didn't work at all. It's a real shame because in my opinion the talent is there but they severly fumbled the bag with connecting with current trends and understanding the zeitgeist. This is pop music, not some kind of underground indie concept. I really think she and Warner must be rethinking things seriously rn, or at least hope so.

Dua is so faceless that we don't even care to drag her for her flop. Look at Katy, shes dragged for basically breathing. Imagine if this was any other pop girl era, the mess that this site or stan twitter would be

This was just a trial run, real era starts in January

Radical Optimism's shaky start is a worrying sign for DL3.

Real talk though I don't understand why they haven't pushed These Walls as the next single yet. It's not like they have anything to lose. At best it could be a cute AC hit and would give the era a bit more longevity. At worst it doesn't do anything. The problem to me is that they don't even seem to be TRYING right now.

Faceless acts don't sell out stadiums. In 2024 that's a useless term to describe her. Inoffensive is a better term
