Thor Posted August 26 Posted August 26 She sounds really bitter and resentful. But anyway, she very clearly and desperately wanted to gain any ounce of success just so she could relive her glory days but after seeing the disastrous reception to her comeback, she has finally given up. It must suck to see all your peers leave you behind in dust. She will forever remain a shitty person and "artist" though and that's her legacy. 4 3
CroNich Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Is the abundance space and artistic space she created the album with in the room with us? 2

Peak Now Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Okay she's not wrong but why did she run back to Lukasz then

New flash, Katy is not Capital's main cash cow, that's Doja. Also, her discography is more than making up for Capital Records' funding of the MV. At this point in her career, she can afford to flop, her bag is secured and she is a household name. A name that promises brand deals, spots on commercials and a product being sold. As of today, she is still one of the world's richest women so that's a no on the label not profiting due to WW's chart performance. Using the song, she got a Demon Ear Buds brand deal, so her label couldn't care less. It sucks that because Taylor your fave has moved on and you haven't. This meltdown 💀 seems like everyone else has moved on as well! 2

Acidus Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Is that why she's given up on proving she can still make a good song?
truth-over-factz Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Why is so hard for people to understand that everyone has their own experiences? We obviously know Kesha's account of what allegedly happened to her. But obviously Katy has not experienced anything remotely similar to what she's been through. Why does Katy need to stop working with Dr. Luke to appease Kesha fans if that's not the man Katy has known to be? See what I'm saying? I'm not trying to justify anything. I'm simply saying that there are two valid experiences. There are arguably more complex layers to this story than Dr. Luke simply being Katy's producer. They've worked with each other since the start of Katy's career, so I think it's understandable for her to have mixed feelings. And she stopped working with Dr. Luke on Witness and Smile. And clearly, Katy isn't the only one who's continued to work with Dr. Luke. Doja, Ariana, Mariah Carey, Latto, Nicki Minaj and so many other artists have continued to work with him since the whole Kesha thing. But somehow, when it comes to Katy Perry and Kim Petras, they get all the hate. Another thing that is really annoying is how all the credit is taken away from other producers who are credited on songs that Dr. Luke has worked on. People say he slaps his name on everything even if he didn't work on a project. OR they slam the artist for working with him because they see his name credited on a track. So which is it? Did he work on the project or did he not? Ultimately, the argument I'm trying to make is that Katy is getting so much blame for something that isn't her fault. Just because she chooses to work with Dr. Luke does not mean that she thinks Kesha is a liar or that she's choosing sides. I think this is way more nuanced than the broad strokes people like to paint on here. Let's be real. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. 1 7
dinorhino Posted August 27 Posted August 27 She revealed this era that she has absolutely no artistic direction within herself and is only capable of doing music is someone gives her a script to follow by her releasing 2010s music in mid 2020s.
ahauntingnearu Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Mega flop, directionless, no moral compass, barren creativity desert 2
