Radio needs to be weighed less, when is billboard doing their next set of formula adjustments?

I'm not a Sabrina stan, but I have been enjoying her and am a big fan. If she gets block on the Hot 100 cause of radio, and the billboard 200 from Travis, then Billboard really needs to reevaluate things. This is clearly her week.

No, streaming needs to be weight less, around 20% of all streams are bots

Taste keeps increasing on US spotify:

1. Taste  3.3 million

12. A Radio song 1.3 million

2 million daily streams more than the current Hot 100 #1

in that case also everything should have weight less since radio is just labels paying for their songs to get played and sales are non existent and also can be fraudulent. I mean it would make sense if the measurement were more equal I think? But I don't think weight less or more any metric would make it less fraudulent and manipulated

But in the previous update it increased only 10k in the US. Unless it increases a lot in the next update, I dont see it hitting #1

At least with streaming the people get to pick what they want to listen to. Radio is just DJ's playing specific songs the listener has no other option over. If I turn on radio I'm probably only wanting to hear 10% of what comes on over an hour period. Radio lacks any true representation of what the GP really want.

making streaming weight less is not the answer

what they can make is include unique listeners

And how many streaming is autoplay and people not skipping songs till 30 seconds are played? Also bought positions on playlists and streaming farms made by fans

Not the tweet hyping up a song that sounds like a 90's auto-tuned Ricky Martin track, and has a half dozen variants for fans to mass purchase :lmao:

Without Sabrina album bomb, Jimin will be in the top 25, very stable :gaycat5:

If we all tried a little harder to use premium accounts, take advantage of Spotify accounts by streaming remixes, it could be at #26

They are not even trying to hide it now :bibliahh:

I think Sabrina will pull it off.

if Taste reaches #1... that would make it & PPP #1 songs, and Espresso not. and that is WILD

"Blow pop come on loli" best verse ever

All those country pop crossovers are pretty bad ngl, including Austin, ABS and IHSH. Beyoncé is the only one who did it right on her album. They just can't be her.

You do realize radio is basically all autoplay and radio payola. Flowers by Miley Cyrus is still #23 on radio, should it still be a top 30 hit a year and a half later? Streaming isn't the perfect measurement, I never said it doesn't have issues, but there's no doubt it's a better representation of what people are actively trying to listen to.

But the youtube streams will decrease a lot. And Taste isn't getting too much airplay support yet

Maybe if A Bar Song free falls faster on radio
