ATRL Moderator Ampersand13 Posted August 26 ATRL Moderator Posted August 26 I can't believe she only dropped 5 million on a Sunday I mean, I can believe it in the sense that the album deserves a great hold but it's truly surreal (in the best way) to see her perform so well
NorbertMinaj Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Why is it that Sunday updates are usually the lowest? Anyone care to explain? Beats me…
Broken Posted August 26 Posted August 26 So happy for her! 8 hours ago, Human Fly said: Who cares about hot100. It was #1 on Spotify WW and Spotify US so it was biggest song in the world and in the US at some point. Hot100 lost its course since 2020. Thanks! #1 on Spotify WW, US >>>>>>>>> Flop 100

Beats me… Most people don't work Sundays and instead spend time with family, with friends, in church, out drinking, on the lake, etc etc etc. It's pretty much the universal day of rest (or play) with less time spent listening to music. Whereas with people commuting to work through the week or doing chores at home, etc etc they're likely to be playing music alongside these tasks that must be completed. 2

But she had her connections back then from being a Disney star. My mom loved Sabrina back then! I'm pretty sure that is literally what industry plant means You have stronger connections or opportunities than your average up and coming pop star. Im happy Sabrina is getting her big moment finally 1
fridayteenage Posted August 27 Posted August 27 "an artist who presents themselves as being independent and doing things on their own terms, but secretly has the industry backing and money to fund them." No one thinks this of Sabrina. 3 2

I believe Espresso was actually a standalone single at first but after the whirlwind of success they decided to release an album. It did definitely pay off tho. I think that considering this, they planned the era very well tbh. And now she has the tour coming in one month, which will help a bit with the album longevity Lol, of course "Espresso" was never planned as a standalone single. "Please Please Please" was literally teased at the end of the Espresso video.

Im happy Sabrina is getting her big moment finally Y'all are too quick to discredit people and use terms incorrectly. A plant is literally someone who pretends they're doing it all themselves when in reality they have a whole machine behind them. Sabrina has dropped 5 albums, changed labels and released dozens of singles and videos over the last decade. What terrible connection do you think she has?
