She's doing great. I think what's really sticking so far is that GP wants bedroom pop/r&B/retropop Sabrina and not the acoustic songs (in comparison, they are doing good on their own too). she should take notes for the deluxe

:mrpeanut:  Yes exactly, she has found her sound* and can now replicate like Dua did with hers until the GP tires of it.

*of course she also has great videos

Definitely! Seems like she's found a good lane that the GP appreciate from her. Her more upbeat, R&B tinged stuff is great. The acoustic stuff is fine but there's so many other girls doing that better. She's got a good niche now. Hope the deluxe and next project lean even more heavily into her strengths.

It's going to easily outdebut Loud and Teenage Dream's first week sales. Rihanna was a singles artist during the digital era.

We love that. Bodes well for SnS's long term run.

Iʻm so impressed with Sabrina and this album :clap3: truly the Teenage Dream of the ʻ20s not to mention itʻs equally as catchy but has way better production and lyricism. Not to mention Sabrina does camp 10000x better.

To be fair, if Loud was released in the streaming era the performance of Only Girl (In the World) and What's My Name would've counted towards the first week sales so her first week would be bigger. Similarly, if Sabrina was in the digital era she could've potentially been a single artist herself with Espresso, Please Please Please and Taste smashing while fewer people opted to buy the whole album. Nowadays every person has the whole album for free to listen to and every click counts towards the sales so singles artists will benefit from that as every single stream and the popularity of the singles directly influences the sales of the parent album while the sold copies of the singles in the digital era did not.

So happy for her wow. This album is gonna be a streaming juggernaut. Two smashes already with Taste seemingly taking off (to be a smash hit and not just a hit) + Bed Chem/Good Graces showing massive potential. Juno as well is an obvious potential single. She could really stretch this era out and pull a Future Nostalgia if she wanted tbh.

And u think because it outdebuted TD and Loud, it's the bigger era? :eli:

I love SNS but people need to stop disrespecting TD lol. Just because Katy is flopping now doesn't erase her past SMASHERY

Thats huge for her! She's also 4th biggest female (non-Taylor) debut week on Spotify in history (9th surpassing Sza if we're including Taylor Drops).
