I kinda felt like she would comment at the end of the European tour tbh. Makes sense.

I am so glad she said something. Things got shaky and instead of grieving thousands of lives, we grieved concerts. :heart2:

we were grieving concerts and not lives

Let me be very clear: I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows.

In cases like this one, 'silence' is actually showing restraint, and waiting to express yourself at a time when it's right to. My priority was finishing our European tour safely, and it is with great relief that I can say we did that.

Surely all the butthurt people who complained about her not speaking up right after are hiding in shame for not having the mental capacity to understand how dangerous it would have been to speak up before the London shows

I mean it was SO COMMON SENSE. Like ******* DUH. I was horrified when I saw this was even a thing in the Swiftie world.

Actually a very mature and reasonable approach. Good done, Taylor.

Extremely well said.  What a terrible situation, feeling the weight and guilt of having almost hosted an absolute tragedy and also feeling the guilt of having to cancel shows (not including Lover Fest, she's only cancelled one show in her entire career, in 2009) and wishing she could communicate that to people....while also feeling terrified for her own safety and her entire crew's safety going forward.

She put it perfectly.

Tell us you didn't read her statement without telling us you don't know how to read.

Flawless statement. :clap3: showing once how intelligent, mature and thoughtful she is.

I can only imagine the whirlwind that she and the team went through dealing with the news and planning the safest path foward. So glad that they did and the London shows went on with no issues.

And I'm glad she's (indirectly) sending the message regarding the election that she'll only speak when she feels like it's the right moment, and that she's putting her fan's safely first.

This was an articulate, well worded response… and she's right.

I also agree with @PoisonedIvy in that is more or less confirmation she's going to remain silent for the remainder of the election cycle… I'm actually pretty sure she has a show in a red state around the time of the election if I'm not mistaken.

It took her one day. She was never going to break silence when doing so would be giving those a-holes the attention and airtime they wanted, and could have even spurred on like-minded demons with the same diabolical agenda  to make sure they get the job done at the next shows before she left Europe.

This was a clear, calm, and honest response.
