Diet Pepsi Posted August 20 Posted August 20 2 hours ago, Nefertiti0 said: the album had most of its streams from 'Did It First' but it suddenly started falling on Spotify charts in 3rd week. 2 weeks ago 'Did It First' was #64 with 3,875,501 on US Spotify weekly chart, last week it didn't chart. Not the album falling out as soon as the autoplay deal wore off
Rihinvention Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Technically it's still the highest-charting scat album of all time. 4
Arrows Posted August 20 Posted August 20 This album was exactly one year too late. Her career was totally mismanaged and now she's kinda done for good. The Taylor collab also came way too early in her career, for a lot of people that was their introduction to Ice Spice (and it doesn't help that she was sh*t in it) 3 1
Maxxxine Posted August 20 Posted August 20 I'm convinced this era was a humiliation ritual for the poor thing
Dolce Vita Posted August 20 Posted August 20 (edited) she should've released during the peak of her popularity last year before everyone got tired of her. she lacked the foresight of knowing her brand wasn't going to be as tolerable a year later, which contributed to her downfall Edited August 20 by Dolce Vita 3
Radical Pessimism Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Didn't she release a song about farting? No one wants to listen to this kind of music!
Rigalo Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Her flopping is directly correlated to the Baby Storme expose lol, we all know if she had Barbz support she'd be far better off rn. It's honestly kinda sad 3
KBax Posted August 20 Posted August 20 I'm surprised it even charted at all... she's literally the most untalented "rapper" (if you can even call her that) Like her lyrics are so juvenile and basic. Every song sounds the same, with the same lines and the identical sounding beats. Nobody's here for Ms. Poopy and her love for scat 1 1
Robyn. Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Why would anyone be surprised by this? Ice Spice's momentum was mainly supported by tweets and social media clout. She was never a huge seller at all... Her name seemed big, I'll give you that, but it was all smoke and mirrors because those records were not selling that much... 1
Wicked Posted August 20 Posted August 20 The only reason it debuted on the chart is cause of streaming. Type of artist who wouldn't have even debuted 10 years ago. Elliot Grainge has such a horrible track record with talent. These are the artist they invest in rather than Rappers with real artistry. Spooky hours for the genre in the mainstream.

Because the Grammys are literally not worth anything anymore. They're awards for the best PR team of the year, they prioritise mainstream hype over quality. Edited August 20 by BowWow 1 1

Funny how they both scored one last viral hit with Central Cee. I wouldn't say PP is worse off; the difference between the two is Pink has a very distinct sound and artistic vision. Even if she doesn't ever blow up commercially again like she did with Boy's A Liar, she'll have a loyal following that checks for her as she continues to evolve. The quality difference between this and Heaven Knows is huge, and I have to imagine she's not losing much sleep over chart success. She kinda gives the vibe that she'd probably be more comfortable at a lower tier of pop-stardom, anyways 1 1
Acuminatus Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Nature is finally healing! Hope other more talented female rappers rise up in her place. I blame Taylor for extending her relevance with that terrible remix.
shookspeare Posted August 20 Posted August 20 time for Iggy to return and reclaim her crown as the princess of rap
MatiRod Posted August 20 Posted August 20 "Deli" should've been the lead single from this. It's an album of hard, unapologetic, non-stop bops. She could've gone a more pop route but she did something true to her. 1
