pride4jc1222 Posted August 22 Posted August 22 It's going to come down to the final updates, but based on the trajectory of streams and radio so far this week, I think A Bar Song is going to come out on top. So happy about Lose Control finally dropping out of the Top 10. Now if Guy For That can push Cowgirls out of the Top 15 that would be great too. Also, here is 26-38:
Roberto Posted August 22 Posted August 22 (edited) Die With a Top 3 debut (future #1) Edited August 22 by Roberto
Green Posted August 23 Posted August 23 See this is the main reason why I wanted A Bar Song's airplay to start falling fast Right now Die with a smile is doing 2.7 million on US spotify while A Bar Song is doing 1.5 million and guess who will be #1 because of the massive airplay (I'm talking about next week's chart when Gaga/Bruno will climb to #2 blocked by A Bar Song)
pride4jc1222 Posted August 25 Posted August 25 A Bar Song is predicted to spend a 13th week at #1 in Canada, leading all metrics:

EDIT: Originally it was predicted to be #1 in sales and #10 on streaming, but like #15 or something on the Hot 100 due to radio. Looks like your anti radio smear campaign was a little too premature

Now go listen to your radio, boomer.
UseYourIllusion2002 Posted August 26 Posted August 26 I guess ONE post stating that radio shouldn't be weighted as much on the Hot 100 = an "anti radio smear CAMPAIGN" pathetic.

Both can't be true buddy

Advocating for the removal of radio but not digital sales? Troll better.

Ah yes, nobody cares about radio which is why the radio thread on ATRL is dead and the digital sales thread is thriving

Troll better. you literally remind me of my grandma who was +70 when the technology appeared and she called it "the doing of the devil" saying "people will go to hell" just because she refused to see the reality and progress in life. digital sales are dead and don't weigh as much as the radio does on charts. a person that barely sells anything can still go top 10 with streaming and radio play. now if your song has decent streaming numbers (not as big as die with a smile) and goes top 10 for digital sales, it will never go top 10 on hot 100 because it's not supported by the radio. it's a fact and the radio should weigh as much as digital sales. i don't even care if both would be removed because they don't make any sense really and are not at the same level as streaming. but because they need a fair calculation, I'd give streaming 70% and 30% a combination of radio and digital sales. now that would balance things better!
