This is too random. There must be sth happening :jonny6: :jonny6:

Chris just likes to show his appreciation for other artists. He covered a bit of Someone Like You in Munich because Adele is there, dedicated Everglow to Taylor in Düsseldorf after they spent a few days in the same hotel, posted a video listening to Chappell Roan... The list goes on.

The way this woman effortlessly makes the bottoms on this site mad needs to be studied :deadbanana2:

and in this case it's not even her, it's another artist covering her song, and they're still angry? :dies:

and ATRL swore it's a horrible song just because it didn't get 8M streams daily :sistrens:

If it had a second verse, a proper bridge and didn't immediately start with the chorus it would've been a great song

"Beautiful song" he says after repeating twice:

"I know you feel it
Can you believe it?
I'm gonna love you 'til the end
And then repeat it"

the verses are cheap. if they wrote it properly, it could've been a moderate hit tbh

Stripping this song from its 2014 Ibiza beat just highlights how poor it is. The lyrics, the basic melody...

Coldplay's poppier songs would have actually been a good sound for Katy's comeback though. I could see an audience overlap there, I'm sure the Chris Martin girls like Roar and Firework

Also, what dirt does she have on him?

And Katy actually debuted in 2001 with her Christian rock album "Katy Hudson", but she tanked and had to wait until 2008 before she actually got a hit. So they're not far off from each other
