Morgan isn't that big of a force globally. His biggest single debuted with like 3mil. Doing 14mil with your lead and only 32mil with your album is insane

Lol he was inescapable during the beerbongs and bentley's era and now this. And he hasn't even done anything particularly wrong (well.. Motley Cue was the first brick).

And this is coming from a I Had Some Help truther i love that song. The way his career had such a sharp trajectory change needs to be studied

I expected a bit higher because of his resurgence this year. But not bad at all. He was bound to do these numbers, just that I thought it would be a little over 40M.

 

The album and deluxe held #1 and #2 on US AM, lead single IHSH re-peaked at #1 on US AM, and the tracks charted within top 10-20 IIRC.

 

He had 2 number 1's this year (second of which is the longest-running right now), broke all-genre and country streaming/sales/radio records with each of the both songs, the 2nd single went top 15, and was featured on a great Beyoncé song (top 20).

 

The album is predicted to do 200-225K - his third biggest FW. Biggest is Hollywood's Bleeding (489K), and second is B&B (461K).

 

Sounds like a win.

His songs rose tremendously on Apple second day so I think the Spotify numbers will only be a very slight drop. Maybe a tiny gain if the deluxe tracks smashed. Kinda good for his standards this decade, he's def course corrected after those other two albums.
