meanwhile Justin Baldoni just hired D*pp's PR crisis person who helped him deal with Amber Heard situation but the internet will stay quiet about how terrible the optics of that look.

but like why hire a PR crisis person when the internet is already on your side unless you have something to hide/cover for? Just my opinion.

Yeah, solely off of that and the entire cast unfollowing him I feel that there is more to this story than people on Tiktok's context clue theories.

Why are they mad at her like isn't the ultimate objective of those press tour is to promote the film :deadbanana2:

I'm so confused..are they upset that her interviews are kinda boring whereas the starring male lead is talking more poetically and stuff? Is that it lol?

I think it's more that she's talking about superficial things like Britney Spear's dress and the bombastic nature of the character she is playing as opposed to the very serious issue of domestic abuse (and the core subject of the movie) - whereas her co-star is instead shining a light on this issue (and not her). Which is sending a conflicting message to victims of domestic violence who are intended to draw strength from the movie. I don't know, that's just my take 🤷‍♂️

I've seen people say "what about how the cast of That 70's Show all blacklisted Topher and then wrote a statement to defend their rapist friend. We don't know what's going on here with anybody

the last interview, where she's in the britney versace dress, where she says, she doesn't wanna portray the character only as a victim of domestic violence, is imo the most important one.

They are taking issue on her advertising the movie as a romcom, a fun breezy film for you to enjoy with your friends while using florals and stuff like that, when the movie is about domestic violence and abuse.

People just love crying about nothing. Blake saw her as more than a victim.

If Baldoni thinks that he is going to empower women with Blake Lively on the lead of a film based on that terrible book by Colleen Hoover, the joke is on him!

All I see is Blake promoting to the target audience that will watch such a movie, because, trust me, no serious movie goer and film critic is going to like this mess!

Blake Lively is just the last victim of jobless SJW on X and TikTok!

idgi, watched some of the interviews in the OP and there is nothing wrong about them? it's the typical Hollywood promotion Q&A.

Her co-star is the one being unnecessarily deep about the movie :rip:
