Rev8 Posted August 12 Posted August 12 Yea, Brat and Charli had a huge year she got her flowers and everyone was on her bandwagon, which she was long due TTPD is mostly about success..so I don't think it should be the winner CC is a choice if they chose to yet again ignore the smaller artist But it was good to see Bey go out of bounds and try something new+ ppl liking it (which isn't hard for her to achieve)

Every conversation is "Will it be Brat, or TTPD, or HMHAS, or Cowboy Carter, or The Rise & Fall of a Midwest Princess, or Radical Optimism, or Short n Sweet, or Eternal Sunshine?" I feel like y'all are gonna be gagged if a guy wins it. It's been a great year for pop girls, but it's important to remember that the academy listens to a lot more artists (across a lot more genres) than Twitter gays do. Sturgill Simpson is my dark horse for this, a grammy favorite with his "comeback" album that's been receiving heaps of praise. (It would be a well-deserved winner as well)
theoghon Posted August 12 Posted August 12 let's not forget Vampire Weekend is right there ...and THEE Jack White them nominating this nerdcore rap album would be a kii tho 1
motherfossora Posted August 12 Posted August 12 i think brat is the superior of the three but do y'all really see it winning the grammys... 1
LegaMyth Posted August 12 Posted August 12 Give it to an unexpected winner like Norah Jones was in 02 to piss people off.
Shelter Posted August 12 Posted August 12 Brat winning would be laughable, the Grammys are just not about quality anymore.
