WhateverYouWant Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Good. She deserves to flop. Its a better song than ww though.
BrokenMachine Posted August 11 Posted August 11 And no, I'm not surprised. Why? Because I listened to the song 1

I haven't listened yet, but I'm sure it's a good song, deserving of a spot inside the Hot 100, but sometimes people don't have taste and that's okay. What more she needs is a lasting career - unless you're good with those rapist-produced #1's being the hallmark of her career (it's a joke we know all katykids don't have an issue with it) 1

It's serving OUT-OUT in every single metric She might not dominate the H100 like she used to but she always had the Bubbling Under to fall back on. I for one would be very shocked if this doesn't chart there as well... but hey there's a first time for everything! Edited August 11 by Riverbank 4
Keeandga Posted August 11 Posted August 11 It's not a bad song it's just generic (the instrumental at the very least) but with all the backlash it's just not strong enough.

It was sarcasm and I wasn't defending Katy's career.

ugo Posted August 11 Posted August 11 She finally claimed a title Taylor swift will never have: queen of the bubbling under 1

Taylor has: tell me why hey Stephen TV girl at home TV Katy songs that peaked at 102-110: peacock, Harleys in Hawaii, by the grace of god
Gossip_Boy Posted August 11 Posted August 11 (edited) Oh Godsync don't make that slay. Wait this is for next week's hot 100 but whatever. Edited August 11 by Gossip_Boy

I'm not sure why people held out hope that Espresso had a chance at #1 against ABS. The gap here is way too large. Espresso needs to gain 15M streams at minimum to even have a chance at challenging ABS for #1. Safe to say, there's almost no chance of that happening. Sabrina's best chance at another #1 is one of the other unreleased tracks exploding on release week. It's almost certain the next #1 on the Hot 100 is something currently not charting yet.
Bethenny Frankel Posted August 13 Posted August 13 can a bar song please go? it's overstayed its welcome
RoseBud Posted August 15 Posted August 15 I thought Sabrina would drop a third single before the album dropped. Doesn't seem like that will happen...
