It doesn't matter, she already achieved everything and more and has 9 number ones under her belt, what more does she need? :bird:

I haven't listened yet, but I'm sure it's a good song, deserving of a spot inside the Hot 100, but sometimes people don't have taste and that's okay.

What more she needs is a lasting career - unless you're good with those rapist-produced #1's being the hallmark of her career (it's a joke we know all katykids don't have an issue with it)

How? It's serving OUT-OUT in every single metric

She might not dominate the H100 like she used to but she always had the Bubbling Under to fall back on. I for one would be very shocked if this doesn't chart there as well... but hey there's a first time for everything!

It's not a bad song it's just generic (the instrumental at the very least) but with all the backlash it's just not strong enough.

You're absolutely right actually. It was sarcasm and I wasn't defending Katy's career.

Does this come as a shock to you? Do you think this anticipated 2nd single can still make a dent on the H100? Discuss

The same katycat that's sad about 'LIFETIMES' blocking songs from #30 on bubbling instead of #1 on this onespacer.png

well, Katy actually has no song that peaked at 101.

Taylor has: tell me why

hey Stephen TV

girl at home TV

Katy songs that peaked at 102-110: peacock, Harleys in Hawaii, by the grace of god

Espresso would have to see a +50% increase in points for it to reach #1 on album release week… I'm starting to think this won't happen.
I checked and Vampire jumped 47% in points with the release of GUTS but espresso is a bigger hit than vampire soo… :michael:

I kind of knew this like 2 months ago when A Bar Song passed Espresso on radio. I'm not sure why people held out hope that Espresso had a chance at #1 against ABS. The gap here is way too large. Espresso needs to gain 15M streams at minimum to even have a chance at challenging ABS for #1. Safe to say, there's almost no chance of that happening. Sabrina's best chance at another #1 is one of the other unreleased tracks exploding on release week.

It's almost certain the next #1 on the Hot 100 is something currently not charting yet.

:katie:  I thought Sabrina would drop a third single before the album dropped.  Doesn't seem like that will happen...

equivalent week for Olivia since there's the exact same gap between first single and album release:

#16 drivers license

#17 deja vu

album release week it was

#3 deja vu

#11 drivers license

perhaps Sabrina didn't feel the need to release a 3rd single as of yet.
