All she has at this point is name recognition. Her music career is done. 

 

I'd pitch around a reality show that includes Orlando or suggest going back to American Idol. I'd also suggest any endorsement deals that are offering a good chunk of cash. Tell her to go on a billionaire private party tour ala Xtina and make what she can while her name has some earning power still. As embarrassing as it might be she could make a killing hosting stupid shows on Netflix like Nick Lachey does. Then maybe try again in 2028 with hopes of a nostalgia comeback

I would force her to work with Bonnie McKee again. Bonnie is the one who wrote most of Teenage Dream's best lyrics and hooks. 
 

Katy still isn't working with the original "dream team":

 

Bonnie was the best at writing lyrics.

Max Martin was the best at making melodies for those lyrics. 
Dr. Luke would take the melodies and lyrics and create an amazing production instrumental around it. 
 

Katy was kinda just there for the ride to sing and be the poster child.

 

Now that she's back with Luke we see how badly she needs the other members of the Dream team.

She blew her last chance. Nobody will be wanting Katy Perry music 5 years from now. She's over. Going back to luke is the final nail for her music career.

There isn't much she can do now, her music sucks but her real problem is no one likes her cause she's destroyed her image. Leave the camp behind Katy, it's been long overdue.

The best move for Katy would be to have a critically acclaimed album, even if it's not commercially succesful. That would give her a lot of respect and a new wind. She needs to try something completely different and artistically challenging. There were some folksy, singer songwriter elements on One Of The Boys, it would be great if she could expand on that.
