lg6chromatica Posted August 9 Posted August 9 No. Katy Perry's new era is trying to emulate Chromatica and it isn't working. 1

Follow up single same situation lol. Better dance songs. Ariana carried Rain on Me though because she was extremely popular. Just in my opinion "Lifetimes" is the better second single because it's bop solo and it sounds like something everyone could like rather then just for a couple weeks. These projects seem similar. An Ariana Grande feature doesn't automatically = a guaranteed hit. Plenty of songs she's been on have either flopped or underperformed - "Bed" with Granny, "Dance to This" with Troye Sivan, "Met Him Last Night" with Demi Lovato, to name a few. The GP were just here for Gaga x Ariana which is a testament to them both. Edited August 9 by lg6chromatica
MadMax12 Posted August 9 Posted August 9 (edited) Yeah this is what House music should be - big beats, hard and full production. Chromatica is so watered down and compressed. Rain On Me needed to be bigger and louder. Dr Luke is just a better producer than Bloodpop Edited August 9 by MadMax12 1 3

Hun. Women's world is terrible it's basically Stupid Love. But this song is way better then rain on me. That was a flukey. The mobsters are back. This song is the bop gaga wanted. blown away Posted August 9 Posted August 9 You again? Lifetimes is rather empty and lifeless. The only thing on Chromatica that comes close to it in quality is Plastic Doll or Fun Tonight. 2

You should sit this one out. And about the original post, Lifetime wishes it was at least 1/10 good as the worst song on that album. 2
Acidus Posted August 9 Posted August 9 The song is enjoyable enough but Lifetimes is serving Spotify beach party playlist filler by a faceless DJ and rent-a-singer I would hope Gaga never aspires to release content as vapid and bereft of character as this 1

penguintim Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Was "soulless dance track with designs on radio terrorism that would've been dated 5 years ago but might still find a home on the love island soundtrack" what Gaga was going for with Chromatica?? I think the **** not
