Katy did what Chromatica couldn't. She created an unpretentious universal house bop that will be on every Ibiza playlist for generations to come 

 

Gaga tried but sadly failed imo. Chromatica felt uninspired while Lifetimes feels like a cold breeze in a hot summery day. Katy captured the zeitgeist perfectly with this bop!

Chromatica is Gaga's most 'basic' pop album, so I kinda see the comparison, but Chromatica, a 2020 album, sounds fresher and more recent than Ms. Laugh Lines
