30 is one of the blandest, most boring albums I've ever heard, while Cowboy Carter feels like an auditory odyssey. It plays like a cinematic western in your head. sure, it could be tweaked a little, and it's not as replayable as a whole as renaissance, but when the mood is right (like on a hot summer day in the mountains or a dry forest, for example), it HITS
